In a land withering away as the ground were charred to ash, the air unbreathable to the living and the sky as red as blood.

"Weakling" A sickling voice echoed.

" You can't protect anyone." It continued.

" Everyone you love will die again and again. You could never protect anyone. You are a worthless..." As the deep growling voice continue to rain it insults it was interrupted.

" Will you shut up already"

At the wall of a ruin kingdom, a massive dragon with thick black scale, glowing red insides and massive black ring stood. It glowing red eyes stared at it target.

A young man around nineteen of age. He had short straight pointed hair with a pair of black horn protruding from his red hair.

He was tall with a slim muscular built, he wore a high open collar black shirt and a slim black pants with a black boot.

His cold golden eyes stared upward toward the massive dragon as he continues.

" All you do is insult me but do your words hold any weight. You are still residing in this ruin world. A result of you own foolishness. Don't antagonize me" Stein voice was unusually cold while his gaze sharpen at the dragon.

The monstrosity was visible shaken under Stein glare but it size and appearance wasn't just for show. It roar, shaking the ground and sky in hope of frightening Stein but it was proven ineffective.

Stein fold his arms, his eyes relax while he gave the expression of watching a idiot.

" You dare mock me. The Dragon King of Destruction. The destroyer, the one who devour all!!" The dragon bellow in fury but Stein only reason with a smirk.

" I dare"

Within the open field around Vaizel the dreadful tears of the third princess of Liones could be heard.

Elizabeth hugged her blood covered older sister while her face was wet with tears. It was this older sister that had just saved her life by putting herself in the path of the explosion.

" Princess Veronica" Griamore, the loyal knight of the second princess cried, moaning her passing. His teeth clench together as he heard the sound of the two killer of his princess.

"You.." Before he could speak he was assaulted by an explosion to the face. His body was sent flying before hitting the ground some distance away.

" Are you sure about that? He is the grandmaster son" Jericho a bit surpise by her partner action mutter.

" The seven deadly sins attacked. He was a causality of that battle" Guila gave an nonchalant reply, explaining what would be used to covers up this situation.

" You are one scary woman" Jericho reply. The newly created holy knight held no sympathy to her opponent.

Guila picking up the dragon handle sword, gave a smile as she reach for the princess.

" Now princess. Please come quietly with us. It wouldn't do for anyone more to get hurt"

" Meliodas pleas help me" Elizabeth cried holding the goddess amber that trapped her hero.

" It time to give up. Your hero won't be able to escape..." Before Guila could finish her words, her hands was grasp.

Everyone around was instantly stun by the appearance of a man that should have been dead.

" Jericho is right. You are one scary woman Guila" Stein golden eyes stared down at the black hair woman. He notice she flinch before attempting to attack but a punch in her face nullify her attempt.

He ignore Guila body that flew back and shifting his body countless as be avoided Jericho Godspeed slashes.

Landing a kick into her stomach, he sent hee flying as well with ease.

" Is that you Stein?" Elizabeth opening her eyes at the new voice, she reveal a surprise gaze as she looked at Stein. She was happy he was okay.

She had heard Ban curse Jericho for killing Stein but it seem Stein was alive and well. She pause however at his black horn and ominous atmosphere he gave off.

" Elizabeth you should get up. As for your sister" Flashing his hand over the 'dead' second princess a warm glow of white light hit Veronica body.

In matter of second Veronica wounds had vanished. This surprise Elizabeth but she couldn't help but grasped when she saw identical wounds appear on Stein body.

" Stein what are you doing!!" She yelled grabbing his arm.

" It one of my magical ability. Heal. It allow me to transfer an opponent injuries to myself, healing them in the process. It would be a useless skill that could kill the user but my recovery speed is instantaneous." While he explain his new found abilities his wound had vanish.

" An impressive magical ability. I am glad you finally awaken your powers but it will not help you against us" Guila back to her feet said. Jericho having recovery a second later gripped her sword handle with anger.

The two girls push down the complex feeling of fighting a friend and prepare to kill Stein.

" Sigh. When I first met you two you were annoying but atleast bearable. Guila care about her brother and wanted to protect him was cute and Jericho desire to become a holy knight was admirable" Stein mutter.

" But here you are. You recklessly attack a town fill with people because of orders.. no it more to display you might" Stein stretch out his hands a black spear materialize from the air.

" We serve the kingdom and the seven deadly sins are criminals. It doesn't matter which method we used to kill those criminal" Jericho said to which Stein smirk.

A sadistic smile flash on his face as he said.

" So Guila. Supposed the only way to kill the sin cause your brother to die as well. Would you accept that. Maybe Jericho wouldn't mind killing her brother to kill the sin because she so want to be a respected holy knight" His taunt made the two girls flinch.

" Stein?" Hesitantly Elizabeth called out to he Smirking Stein but her attention was drawn by the subtly cough of Veronica as she open her eyes.

" It seem like I owe you" Having been semi conscious when Stein arrive and heal her, Veronica look at the mercenary with a frown.

" Don't.." Guila appear above him and blast a ball of fire toward him. Jericho was infront of him and launch countless slashes to ripped him to shreds.

Both were ample attempt that could instantly defeat the older Stein but...

" Scarlet Winds" A barrier of red wind wrap around Stein and the two princess behind him. The holy knight attack smash into the wind barrier and did no damage to Stein.

" I thought you magical ability was to heal" Stepping back in surpise Jericho said. Her eyes stared at the swirl of wind protecting her enemy.

" I didn't believe when he said it but it seem he wasn't lying. He call Heal one of his powers" Guila landing beside Jericho explain the situation angering Jericho.

After so much Jericho finally received the strenght to become a holy knight and Stein just come and boom he so much stronger than her.

*Crack* Hearing the amber behind him crack, Stein felt a rush of evil aura exude from the Crystal.

' Meliodas I assume. During his fight with Ban it also felt like this but it is alot more concentrated now. I don't have a good feeling about this' Stein thought.

" I can't believe you alive" Ban having recovery came onto the side. Hawk, the talking pig was within his arms barely conscious.

" Ban, take the princess and that unconscious lug of an holy knight and go. Meliodas is coming back but I don't think it will be in a good way" Stein mutter. His body flash as he reach Guila.

Guila display surpise but that was all she could do before he grabbed her head and slam it to the ground.

He carefully dodge Jericho slash and used his free hand and grabbed her neck. Squeezing down on the down, he slam them into the ground repeatedly forming a barrage. The earth shook with the two impacting the ground with no mercy.

With they body stop moving, Stein lean forward. His face between the two ears as he spoke.

" I won't kill you. To be honest I still consider you friends but the next time you get him my way I will crush you so much you wouldn't even want to pick up a sword. Now, while I send you away think about how ashamed you friends and family would be to know you two disgrace" Stein sadistically said as he lifted up in the air and said.

" Endless Gush" Scarlet Winds swirl around him before blasting the two holy knight into the nearby town that was reduce to ruins.

" Gosh, that was brutal" Moving over to Stein side, Ban couldn't help but comment.

" Idiot" That was all Stein could say as the amber broke and a influx of dark energy was spat out. Clouds of darkness and on ominous energy echo around Elizabeth before Meliodas came into view.

" Captain...." Ban began but his body was instantly split in two as Meliodas retrieve his dragon handle sword.

Meliodas eyes was black with a purple hue. His lower body and arms were engulf with darkness that have other the chill while a symbols was display on his forehead.

It was obvious at a glance that Meliodas was not conscious of his action.

*Boom* Immediately Meliodas reach Stein and swung toward his head. The force of his slash could cleave a mountain in half.

Dodging the blow by breath length, Stein slam a fist into the daze Meliodas. The daze boy figure was sent flying by such attack.

" Sir Meliodas!!" Elizabeth yelled as she stood up.

" Elizabeth. Don't. Can't you see. This is Meliodas. The captain of..."

" Jeez I have been heard a more annoying princess before." Listening to Veronica tried to paint Meliodas as evil Stein couldn't help but retort.

He ignore Veronica glare and looked at Elizabeth.

" Don't worry. I think I just have to beat him back to consciousness." Stein said.

" You may be strong but could never beat such a evil. He shouldn't even be able to escape the goddess amber" Veronica snorted at Stein word.

" You shut up. If it wasn't for your mindless action this wouldn't happen. You are here for your sister good but used you brain." Stein distaste for royal grew more as he spend more time around Veronica.

The pink hair princess immediately clamp her mouth shut as Stein step forward. He patted Elizabeth on the head, reassuring her he would bring Meliodas back before he charged forward.

In two step he cross several meter and reach the crater Meliodas created by his landing. The strange thing was, the daze captain of the sins was missing.

This left Stein confused but he immediately found his target. Meliodas was now battling a man in golden armour.
