day two: Jaycee's attack

"Nothing" Ivan said when I asked him if something's wrong. Really? I don't get him. He asked me out then ignore me, it pissed me off. It doesn't suit well with me. He even skipped afternoon classes. 

I asked Honey where I could find him. "Check the clinic first, if he's not there he's probably at the rooftop. "

I dropped by the clinic first and was greeted by Ms Kay. She used to be a teacher at LHigh, my former school before I transferred to A-High. 

"You following me?" She said jokingly when she recognized me

"Oh hi. " Was my half assed response. I was in a hurry and I didn't have time to chat. "I'm actually looking for Ivan, a senior?"

Her eyes sparkled, whatever she was thinking about, I don't know. "He didn't drop by today, hon."

I thanked her and stormed out. I went straight upstairs to the roof. I haven't been to this part of the school building but it seemed a good place to hang out. And there he was, hidden among the shadows, his eyes closed.

I walked stealthy to him and sat down. He didn't notice my presence. I flicked his forehead, even in his sleep he looked deep in thought. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me wide eyed.

"I've been looking all over for you." I said.

He patted my head and took off his earphones.

 "How did you find me then?"

"Honey. If not the infirmary, you'd be here is what she said."

 "So why were you searching for me?"

Why was I looking for him? Good question. I don't know. I just felt like I had to. I have to think of an excuse real quick. 

"I was gonna ask you out." I blurted. That might work. 

When I looked at Ivan, he was blushing. I couldn't help the smile spreading across my face. 

"I'm just claiming date number two, Since you decided date one, let me do the second date."

Ivan laughed. 

"I didn't expect this from you. I actually didn't expect for a second date after what I made you do." He said

I put an arm around Ivan. . "I had fun, i enjoyed your company."

"Thanks, I guess." 

"And I'm a man of my word. Seven dates, I'll see through it." Ok, so I'm being boastful, so what?

 "Thank you." He murmured, his voice was shaking. Was he crying? He buried his face in my chest so I couldn't tell if he was crying or not. Well, whatever. I pulled him in an embrace.
