"So I'm dead?" a soul named CJ said looking around the dark space with only desk in front of him, a man that oddly looks like Yami Yugi in a suit sitting at the desk with his hands folded and metal 3 layer drawers on each side of his desk.

"Yessir mister Johnson, would you like to take a seat ." the man said, motioning at the chair

"No thanks, um who are you ? And why do you look like an anime character ?" CJ asked

"I, am your guardian angel. And my appearance is just a reflection of what you think I would look like. And before you ask, I've never appeared while you were alive because that's not what guardian angels do, we exist to guide you to the next life, not to interfere with your lives while you're living." The man in a black suit explained

"Okay....but why would I.....?" CJ still wondered why the man in front of him looked Yugi since he didn't mean to imagine him like that

"I can read your thoughts, I've seen the anime and can pretty much guess why you subconsciously imagine me as Yami, it's because because whenever you watched the anime you subconsciously thought of Yami as Yugi's "guardian angel." How old were you when you even first watched that show ?" The guardian angel said

"Like nine I think." CJ answered

"Ha, yep !" The guardian angel giggled

"You know what, just call me Yami. Doesn't matter anyways since this will probably be the last time you see me for a while.

"Okay, so now what, do I go to heaven, or do I go to...." CJ was cut off by Yami

"We're going to send to the anime world of your choice, your welcome." Yami said and manifested a smartphone from thin air

"Really ?!?!!?!" CJ cried out in surprise and joy

"Yep, your profile says that in your past life you were an huge anime and manga fan, so...." Yami said while nodding

"Wow, this is just like those fanfictions I used to read about." CJ

"This is exactly like those fanfictions, in fact, we got the idea from those very fanfictions to start sending people to anime worlds." Yami

"Really...." CJ said flabbergasted

"Yep, before anime was a thing we used to have to send mortals to different worlds in order to reward them, but that quickly got complicated because gods in other worlds would try to get involved for one reason or another. But then anime and video games became popular and we got the idea to start sending mortals to variations of these worlds." Yami explained

"Cool....." CJ breathed still mind blown

"I know right, and how efficient it is too, most of you mortals only choose 1 of 4 worlds to reincarnate in so we literally can just mass produce worlds and give 1 copy to each person; And don't worry we don't make dumb mistakes like sending more than one person from earth to each world, unless they themselves opt to, like family members and couples." Yami

"Wait you said most people choose one of four worlds ?" CJ

"Yes, Dragon ball z world, Naruto world, high school dxd world and one piece world oddly enough. Which world did you want to go to ?" Yami said starting to type in his phone

CJ didn't have to think, he already knew

"High school dxd, one hundred percent !" CJ said excitedly

" Of course, let me guess, you either want to practice magic or you want to try to become a harem king." Yami asked with a smirk on his face

"Maybe a little bit of both." CJ

Yami laughed

"They all say that. Ha ha ha, nah nah, the amount of people come in here, request to be sent to dxd world and then completely forget about achieving a harem once they actually get there is amazing." Yami laughed

"What do you mean ???" CJ

"I mean, most of you reincarnaters who choose the dxd world say you're going to achieve a harem and then never do, not because you can't, but because you have get to busy practicing magic. Happens like 90% of the time. The other 40% of you that chooses the dxd world out right say you don't care about a harem in the first place." Yami

"Well isn't that kind of dumb then going to the dxd world and not caring about a harem, it's dxd, you have to get a harem." CJ said logically

"Well yes but no, the thing about having a harem is the fact that you actually have to give a large group of people your time and energy.....EVERY SINGLE DAY. And opting to become devils or figuring out ways to achieve eternal youth, you have to do this for every day of ten thousand years; Something Humans just aren't cut out for.

Humans are naturally selfish, so the realization that having a harem involves more than just s*xual intercourse completely turns them off the idea of actually achieving a harem, instead they just choose to stay single and just "pump and dump." Yami

"Seriously ? I mean how could you see Issei's harem and not want that for yourself ? The girls in Issei's harem have breast that defy gravity; HOW CAN ANY MAN RESIST.

The only reason I would be able to resist is because of the fact that I know those girls will all be married by Issei one day and I would feel as if I NTR'ed him. And I absolutely HATE NTR !" CJ

"Well to answer the first part of your question. Magic exist in this world, even if you can't find a girl that looks like Rias, you can make one, or even change the appearance of any random woman to look like Rias, it's pretty easy, but to answer the other part of your question, those other fanfictions you read where the mc takes all the members of Issei's harem without a care in the world, theirs no need to actually feel bad for Issei, do you want to know why ?" Yami asked

"Yes. Why shouldn't I feel bad that Issei's life long dream of being a harem king is ruined by some invader that doesn't belong in his world ?" CJ

"Because those writers are lazy, if they actually cared more to write about Issei more than enough to just stick Asia with him, they would realize that even if they took every canon member of Issei's harem from Irina the childhood friend, to Rias, to Rossweise... Issei's still would end up with a harem. Issei becoming a harem king is inevitable." Yami said with a straight face

"So I could steal Rias and Akeno away and not feel bad about it ?" CJ

"Yep, because Draigg said it himself, "My wielders have always been surrounded by beautiful women, my power attracts them." Yami explained and then continued

"Realistically speaking no matter whose apart of your harem, Issei is going to have his cake, if you were to take his harem when I send you down there, Issei is going to eventually form his own harem of unknowns characters. It's not like he doesn't have ten thousand years to do so." Yami said and shrugged

"Cool so no guilty conscience, harem here I come. As a matter of fact doesn't that go for me too, couldn't I just get my own harem of unknown characters ? Like just take random npc's and make them my own ?" CJ

"Of course you could, kind of defeats the purpose of going to a high school dxd world, but what the heck, it's your life." Yami

"Well.... honesty my true goal is just to practice magic anyways, plus the fact that they are in modern times makes it very easy to adjust to." CJ

Yami nodded and said "Of course, now usually at this part I explain how we normally don't give wishes and how your reincarnation depends on your karma collected in your last life, but you saved lives, you died saving 3 children. Yami nodded and then continued

"Not only did you save 3 lives but, two of those lives you saved grew up and saved lives themselves, one being a doctor the other also becoming a firefighter, and you get commission off of this fact. I am going to give you two additional wishes. so five wishes." Yami said holding five fingers up

CJ was getting excited, he kind of already knew his first wish

"Can I be reincarnated as Sesshomaru ?" CJ

"Sure thing. So Sesshomaru in the dxd world, that's a new idea. Yokai ?" Yami asked while typing

"Well you know, while Sesshomaru is a yokai, he's still technically a demon, so I was hoping I could be half yokai and half devil." CJ said

Yami looked up from his phone and smiled

"I see what you did there, you know yokais can't use magic like devils and devils can't use certain yokai techniques so by being half of both, you get the best of both worlds. I should charge you a wish for that but I'll give this one to you." Yami said while wagging a knowing finger

CJ thought for a moment and then asked

"Can I have infinite..." But was cut off by Yami

"No, we can't give you any amount of magic or mana or anything like that, you have to get that yourself." Yami

"Can I have a system ? Gamer system ?" CJ asked with puppy dog eyes

Yami sighed

" What do you need a system for ? Your already going to be powerful just being Sesshomaru alone. If you don't do an ounce of training at all, you'll still be as strong as a "high class devil." Yami

"Hmm, wouldn't I be as strong as at least an ultimate class with Bakusaiga ?" CJ asked

"Well yes but no, the thing is Sesshomaru didn't get Bakusaiga until he "officially became" a great yokai by giving up his obsession with Tessaiga." Yami explained and using his fingers to show the quotation marks

"What that means is he either wasn't a great yokai before receiving Bakusaiga or what I think is that perhaps he was already a great yokai and took a step even further and became something that ascends a great yokai once he got Bakusaiga.

With that being said, you'll receive Bakusaiga once you reach ultimate class power." Yami

"Okay, but what about my system wish. I can't have both huh ?" CJ

"No, it's just, the higher ups are starting to have talks about banning gamer systems. As absurd as this may sound, too many reincarnaters are dying with these gamer systems." Yami

"What !? How, you're supposed to be completely OP with a gamer system, how could you possibly go wrong ?!?" CJ asked

"They overestimate themselves and find themselves in situations where they need plot armor, and unfortunately plot armor doesn't exist in real life." Yami

"You got to be kidding me. How could you possibly fail....." CJ trailed off while shaking his head

"It's exactly that type of thinking that gets them killed. we have guys doing all types of dumb things, like falling out of the sky, tanking head shots, getting assassinated.....I can't even tell you how many times someone has gotten vaporized by Sirzech's just for underestimating his temper. I mean he is supposed to be a king, a king of devils no less." Yami said and then suddenly thought of something

"Hey, I can give you a system, just not a gamer one, how about...a shonen system ?" Yami said while slowly waving his hand at the idea

"What's a shonen system ?" CJ asked

"It's a surprise, you'll see when you reincarnate ?" Yami winked and smiled

Yami obviously liked this idea

"Okay, what do you want for that third wish ?" Yami said and got back to typing on his phone

"Hmm, I got the main two wishes out of the way....can I have the ability to travel the multive-" CJ was cut off again by Yami

"I'm going to cut you off right there sir, the multiverse does not exist, these worlds are worlds that are generated mostly on the spot. Think of each world as some sort of save file for a PC game. Though I could give you the power to teleport ?"

"No thank you, I'm going to have fun learning to do that with magic. Hmmm, what to wish for....Well I don't want to be bothered by annoying parents and I also don't want to live in an orphanage, how about...you give me a sub-space inside of the system to live in ! And I could have a house in there and whatnot !?!" CJ excitedly asked

"Okay sure, but in order for me to do that, I now have to tie your system to a physical object, like a rock or something." Yami

"What is with all of these strange rules ?" CJ asked raising an eyebrow

"In order to grant these wishes, certain conditions must be met." Yami answered still typing

"Hey, I have an idea, could the system be tied to Tensaiga, that sword of the afterlife ?" CJ

"Excellent choice, and you know what, that solves another problem, instead of those black holes that sword creates sending someone to a hell that doesn't exist, we could send it to the outside of your sub space. That solves two problems but leaves one. You said you don't want parents or to grow in an orphanage, so how do you want to manifest ? In adult Sesshomaru's body or as teen Sesshomaru.....?" Yami

"Preferably be the same age as Issei 10 years before the plot, and also be in the world 10 years before the plot starts; Since learning magic would probably be easier as a kid, according to common anime tropes." CJ

Yami, bursted out laughing

"Yeah, that's just a myth, the only reason why it's easier is because as a kid theirs nothing better for you to do so it's easier to stay focused. It's not about when you put the work and effort in, but about how much work and effort you put in.

Say for example we have on one hand a ten year old who starts learning magic from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon everyday for ten years and an a 30 year old on the other hand that practices magic everyday from 10 am - 7pm, is in bed by 8:30 pm wakes up at 3 am practices until 7 am, eats and then goes back to sleep until it's time for him to get up again ?

Who would be more advanced at magic after ten years, assuming they both started learning magic from the same basics ?" Yami asked CJ

"Not only would the 40 year old be stronger, but the 20 year old would have almost no hope of catching up because the extra 4 hours becomes almost immeasurable. So train hard." Yami said

"Understood, still make me the requested age though. As for my fourth wish, in a book called Percy Jackson, they had special plates that could manifest any food you thought of....." Already knowing where he was going with this Yami nodded

"Good thinking, eventually you'll need food, now you have an unlimited amount. And for your last wish ?" Yami

"Well, have you ever seen the anime, "in another world with my smartphone ?" CJ

"Yeah, I watched it." Yami

"He was able to keep up with news, media, and tv so long as he didn't comment or try to communicate with anyone." CJ

"Okay, I'll provide a computer that will let you watch whatever you want. News, sports, cartoons, anime, playboy, it'll all be provided. And you can be sure I'll take necessary steps to make sure you can't comment or communicate with people from Earth." Yami

"Thanks Yami." CJ said

"No problem, thanks for sacrificing yourself for those children again, try not to die so young this time." Yami

"I won't, I'll make sure of that. "CJ said giving a bittersweet smile, the smile coming from the fact that he thought Yami was cool and won't be able to interact with him in the next life.

"Get ready. 3. 2. 1." Yami

Everything in CJ's eyesight went white
