CORRINE WAS IN DANGER

"What did you say?!" Riordan questioned one of his people whom he placed to live around Serina's neighborhood. He asked someone to monitor the movement of his son and the next possible Luna of their clan since he couldn't persuade them to come back to their place. Right now, his spy was reporting to him about Serina's involvement of the recent house raid. 

"I don't know if she was telling the truth but she didn't appear to be acting in front of the people. It could be another ability of hers." 

Riordan closed his eyes and pinched the space between his brows. He was bothered with the news that he received, but he couldn't do anything about it. "Alright. Just go back and pretend to know nothing. Make sure that you mask your scent and don't try to communicate with anyone through mind link. Nicholas will know that you are around him." 

"Yes, master." The man bowed his head and left to go back and do his task.
