15 Imposter!

He has to learn it the hard way. He got his life back on track which he couldn't have gotten by any other way but with the bargain of his happiness. His destiny played him very well in the chessboard of life.

Destiny gave him life in exchange for his happiness, contentment, love. It gave him a life full of agony, yearning, longing, misery and sufferings.

But he needed to play his part and play it at his best because of one wrong move and he will lose his sister's happiness for sure and maybe her life too.

He knew competently that he was playing an imposter, fooling others but who was he kidding he was fooling himself, Inside he was still that emotional fool who fell in love with someone else's love and now he is going to run after that dream which was a mirage, to begin with.

He started running behind that mirage unknown to himself. He held Xie Jayden back in his bear hug not knowing what will be the results but soon realised it was his mistake.

Xie Jayden who was unaware of the whole situation believed that his Mo Yuan was back and he was back with a different attitude towards life and promptly the melted feelings took the shape of his new desires. His grip tightened around his life and his feelings started to pour out like newfound waterfalls.

"I love you. I have loved you for thirteen years. Do you remember when you were five years old that time you told everyone in the house that you will marry your Jay gege, that day I fell for you?

That day you asked me to take the oath of love and that wasn't a lie, that wasn't a lie. I said I will love you till eternity and whatever happens, I will only marry you.

They say you realise a person's value in their absence and I realise it in, the awfully hard way. I had my fills of suffering. Now I don't want to fool myself anymore. I know what I want in my life. I want you in my life and want to keep you happy till the end.

If you give me permission I want to marry you as soon as possible. I want to give you all those years back when I ignored you because of my foolishness of not understanding your situation after that accident.

I should have understood that you lost everything in that accident at that small age. I expected too much from you since the beginning and made everything hard for you. I put my impressions and intuitions before you.

I threw away my beautiful life with my own hands. I immersed myself into work so much that I forgot my emotions too. The realisation came very late when you left me alone to get the fruits of my karma but now I want to fill your life with that lost happiness and love.

Will you marry me, my love? Will you give me your heart to take care of it? Will you spend your whole life with me?"

His proposal was bland. No date, no flowers, no lovely words, no ring but filled with true feelings, oath and devotion. The devotion which Xiao Xing saw in his voice, that sincerity laced to each word that was spoken. It was something that shook him from the core of his existence.

"You loved a person for thirteen years with so much devotion and zeal, Xie Jayden. I don't know about the future but for now, I will try to feel that void for you. If jiejie would have been here, she would have said one thing for sure, that if you love him so deeply even your destiny will get impelled to send him back to you from clutches of death, Xie Jayden.

You will get your love back to your life."

His words stung his own heart. The truth is always bitter and in Xiao Xing's life, it became venomous, taking his every breath away from him bit by bit. Every breath was arduous to take and take him near his end.

"I love you, my love. Can you forgive my cold behaviour to you? Can you forgive my impotence to not find you? Will you marry me, my love?"

And who was he to say no to Xie Jayden?

An imposter to begin with, who came here to marry Xie Jayden and give him a successor for his family. Nonetheless, how hard he felt bad for everything that was transpiring between the two of them, he had to play his role.

"Yes"

His answer was thoughtful and erroneous. Thoughtful for families who were dependent on Mo Yuan and erroneous for love that he fell so hard.

"Xie Jayden, I am ready to marry you. Can you please give me some days before that?"

His request was not hard to comply but the heart that was already had to go to the hardship of dying every day with no news of its beats to come back to him. Now when beats came back it got difficult to think of that possibility of not getting it even for a moment.

"A-Yuan, what are you thinking? Please tell me. If you are still angry with me, I am ready to do anything for that. You just tell me what to do? Any punishment will be okay, I will do it. Just don't say that you don't want to…."

He needed to stop him before he would get an attack, crushing under the burden of intention he hugged Xie Jayden again, not for Xie Jayden but for himself, he was the one who was the culprit behind Xie Jayden's anxiety.

"Xie Jayden...Jayden, stop talking. Listen to me first. I am not asking you to break up. I am just asking you for a few days of my life to live with grandma and Mo Jin. I want a few more days to understand you before getting into this relationship. Can you give me a few days? I want to live my life in my way for limited days."

Xie Jayden slowly removed himself from Xiao Xing's hug without infuriating another soul but that place filled with emptiness as soon as he left and Xiao Xing felt a pain in his throat. Did he ask for too much?

Xie Jayden went to the couch which was placed near the window, he just sat there thinking about the thoughts which Xiao Xing sowed into his mind. He did not do anything else nor he said the word that will wrong Xiao Xing but the moments of silence that passed between them were putting the weights of different emotions on his heart.

Xiao Xing could feel the immense pressure stemming from him, which suffocated his heart provoking it to palliate awfully.

His legs that stood where Xie Jayden left him sometime before welded to the hole and he found himself powerless to amble them. Every part of his body asked him to explain something but nothing came out after what he implored Xie Jayden.

He asked for too much and that wisdom came late...At least he guessed that but soon the voice altered everything.

"Yes."

He was thunderstruck beyond major. For the first time, his wish got accepted so easily.

Yes, his destiny was laughing at him for his dumb happiness of some time,

"Xiao Xing, how can you fall in love with someone so much that you, yourself, dig your grave for your soul. When in future you will leave him with your baby, will you be able to live?"

Xiao Xing thought to himself but does it matter now? Yes, his destiny was making fun of him and he was still ready to dive into that inferno forever to get a few days with his love. The decision was taken and this time his heart won it.

"Yes"

The answer was bestowed upon Xiao Xing...A blessing or a curse...Let time decide that but for now, all he could think was, only the person in front of him who was ready to do anything for him.

Xiao Xing had no idea what kind of suffering forecasted him, but regardless of what, be it an ocean of flames or peaks of knives, he would have to survive them for his one-sided love.
