Charon has just berthed his boat into the Stygian Marsh with the souls he has fetched from the Four Gates and one special passenger – Ex-Captain Klangwan.

“Thanks for the ride, Sir Boatman,” bid Khan as he jumps off hurriedly from the boat.

“Anytime.”

As he goes to their office, Khan ponders on what he learned from his boss – Thanatos – when he had a chat with him before boarding Charon’s enchanted boat.

“Greetings, Lord Thanatos,” said the former captain of the Sentinel Force.

“Hello there Klangwan. What brings you back here?”

“I have something to research on. My lord, do you remember the time when Sun died?”

“Yes. What about it?”

“I’d like to ask how many Wayward Souls were recorded before Sun came to The Underworld?”

“Hmmm. There were five. After they refused their respective Psychopomps, their names were transferred from my parchment into Nemesis’ logs.”

“Have they been recaptured my lord?”

“Yes – all five.”
