“When we got off the forest, P'Hans had to call the shuttle to get us back to the city,” said Guy. His popsicle is gone now.

Mochi takes the stick from Guy’s mouth and puts it on back on the empty wrapper. After that, he did the same to his, and then, checks the wound on Guy’s lips, which has stopped bleeding. He stands up to bring out the ice pack from the freezer. When he sits back at the table, he holds Guy’s hand again.

“How long did you wait for your shuttle?” asked Mochi while he dabs the bruise on Guy’s cheek.

“An hour. The good thing is it was an ambulance that came instead of a simple van. Then, we had to travel another hour and a half to get to the nearest hospital.”

“Were you given first aid while on transit?”
