7 Chapter 7. Arrival

Overwhelmed with the news that Hanuel would be joining the national academy for mana users in a week, time went by really fast. Sook Baek and Hanuel, who were suddenly joining the academy together, met up everyday in the library and grew closer to each other. Having driven for another hour, Hanuel also couldn't keep his eyes open anymore and fell asleep. Another few hours go by and the road is getting bumpier by the minute. "Wake up you two, we have arrived" Hanuel and Sook Baek both wake up. They arrived at the academy where the main building looked like a massive palace with two giant warehouses next to it the size of multiple football fields. Sook Baek couldn't withhold her fondness "This place is beautiful"

"Don't spread your mana yet" Said Bora Yun, sensing that Hanuel started to spread his mana to see for himself what the academy looked like. "I will first inform the teachers of your situations, so that they don't accidentally hurt you. After I have informed the teachers, you can do what you want" Hanuel immediately understood, but was still sad that he couldn't see what they saw at this moment.

Bora Yun headed inside together with Hanuel and Sook Baek to officially register them at the academy and inform the teachers about Hanuel's situation. After looking around for a bit Bora Yun had to leave, because only students were allowed on campus. Hanuel and Sook Baek said goodbye to Bora Yun before heading to their dormitories. Arriving at their room it dawned upon them that they only had the key for one room…. They would be sharing a room.

Both feeling embarrassed about having to share a room between a boy and a girl and getting blushed they entered the room. It was a spacious room where there was a curtain separating their beds and only one bathroom. Sook Baek became even more red from blushing "If you enter the bathroom when I am using it or peek behind the curtains, you will be sleeping be sleeping in the hall, you pervert. AND I will pick this bed" Sook Baek said, choosing the bed at the far end of the room, which could be completely hidden with the curtains unlike the other bed, which could be seen from the entrance and bathroom door.

Completely dumbfounded about being called a pervert without even having done anything wrong, Hanuel sat on his bed. The curtains flew open "I am going to the toilet so don't look, you pervert" said Sook Baek with a blushed face. Once again Hanuel was called a pervert without doing anything wrong.

Leaving the bathroom, Sook Baek sat next to Hanuel. "Sorry for calling you a pervert, I have just never shared a room with a boy before" Sook Baek said. Also never having shared a room with a girl before, Hanuel said "It's okay, it was pretty surprising that we had to share a room. But don't worry I will not do anything that you don't want me to"

Now having accepted that they would be sharing the room, they both chuckled at the situation.

An alarm could be heard "All students are to gather at the auditorium".

Both not knowing where the auditorium was they hurried to the hallway, where they could see a lot of kids their age and older running towards the right. Following the masses, they arrived at the auditorium. A big open hall with a few hundred kids gathered, dead silent by the presence of the man sanding on the podium. A big man with a muscular stature of over two meters tall around forty years old with an overwhelming dark green aura covering him. And behind him a line of, what are presumably the teachers.

In the dead silent room, the man began to talk with a resounding voice. "Welcome students, to the nation's academy. I am the president of this academy, Tae Choi. I will ensure that, in this coming year, you will grow stronger for the sake of the nation. In this academy everyone will be treated equally regardless of status. The only way you can set yourself apart from the others is by strength, so you better work hard if you want to be treated better. You can find the schedules for your classes in your rooms. Classes will start tomorrow. Dismissed!"

Silence fell, before students started to chatter before slowly returning to their rooms.

Having returned to their room, Hanuel and Sook Baek see their class schedules on the floor. "Yes! We have the exact same classes schedule" Said Hanuel before further looking at the schedule. It was a schedule for the first week. The schedule mostly consisted of basic theory classes, but there were one thing that stood out about the schedule. On the last day of the week, an evaluation class was scheduled.

This evaluation class would decide which classes you would follow for the first semester and the rank of those classes. Meaning if you get a good evaluation, you would also be receiving more difficult classes. "We have to get into the highest class" Was what Hanuel and Sook Baek thought, as to not dishonour the reputation of the Yul organization and to get as strong as possible in the academy.

Having that determination in mind they had to perform to the best of their ability. To be in pristine condition for the starting classes in the morning, they decided to go wash up and go to bed early. Sook Baek went into the bathroom to wash up first. "I am done you can go and wash up". When there was no response from Hanuel, Sook Baek looked on the bed of Hanuel, where she could see him sleeping. Sook tucked him in before saying, with a smirk on her face and being slightly blushed, "Good night, you idiot"
