Green and Translucent Lines

Confusion, this is the first thing that went through his mind. Living in a place where darkness is all over. The body is difficult to move and feels weak. Breathing is not possible, but he still survives.

Because of all this, he is confused. But not for a long time. Though he was just a mortal in his past life and did not even take the first step of cultivation, he started to cultivate his mind. He took the first step of Mind Cultivation 'Realizing One Self'. Becaus of this his mind is more tranquil and not easily swayed.

Going through all kind of possibilites he comes to several possibilities, but he thinks of one particular, the one possibility that he wants to happen.

'My life force vanished completely and I died, I am 100% sure of that. And now I am here, in a dark place and in an infants body. Well there is only one answer to this. I reincarneted or something like this.

'A new life, my wish came true. Now, the question is where I am, if I am on earth or reincarnated to another world. Because of my evolved mind, I can see through my body and know that I am human, but I do not know if killed the soul of this infant or did I directly become one with this body.'

Felling complicated emotions because of what might happened or not, the soon to be baby is feeling muddled. Though in his past life, earth was not a peacefull place, where killing happened sometimes and he himself also having killed, before he secluded himself in a temple. He never killed an innocent being.

He only killed those that deserved it and those who wanted to kill him. Even those that deserved it, he did not relly care about it. But taking a innocent life that has no karmic ties with him, this was his bottom line.

'Well, nothing can be done now. I will repaying it to your and my new family.'

Having nothing to do after conluding his decision, he starts to cultivate his mind for the first time in his new life.

In the lonely and dark place, weeks go bye and soon months go by like the weeks before. While cultivating, the understanding of time is blurred and he does not know how long it has been after his first thought in the new body.

When suddenly a strand of translucent green energy appears before his eyes. His mind goes blank for a few seconds after he realizes what this energy is. He is shocked and thrilled at the same time, while is thoughts, even with his mind cultivation, are in dismay.

'Th- This, this i- is q-q-qi? Wait no! It should not be green and why is it here? Do I have so much luck? No wait, this is impossible, near impossible!! I only saw two qi strands in my entire life after my mind evolved and because of these whisp I could live twice as much as I should.

'And even than, the strand of qi was not even near the thickness of this one!

'There are only two possibilites, one earth changed and the qi density increased or I am in another world or planet! And why is it green, I never heard of a green qi strand.'

Admiring the strand of qi, he remembers the most important use of qi strands.

'Why am I waiting? I should directly absorb it!'

He stops thinking about anything else and tries to absorb the strand of qi. While concentrating with his mind cultivatiion, he targets the qi to influence it.

Slowly and slowly he tries to direct the strand to him. While it is arduous, he never wavers. With his first step mind cultivation he has an impressive willpower, that is among mortals unparalleled. This of course effects the control over qi.

The strand of qi slowly moves from its original route to the unborn baby. Though the speed of the qi is slow, so slow that mortals would not be able to see it with their eyes, it still moves.

Then after a apparently long time, the strand of qi appears before the baby and slowly fuses with him.

'Wait why do I do not fell my body strengthening? No, it does but to an extent I would normally not even notice it.'

Wondering about the small effect of the strand of qi, he notices another change in his body. In his body small green lines that flow through his body appears. These lines seem connected to another and look a little bit like green blood vessels.

Besides the green lines, translucent lines also appears in his body. More precise not in his body, but on his body. On his skin, muscles, flesh, organs and even on his blood, these translucent lines appears. But they are different from the green lines! While the green lines are like blood vessles, the translucent lines from stencil like forms. They seem like one could engrave something in them.
