1 CHAPTER 1 - EMPTY

"Mrs Ginny," called a woman who was now right in front of her.

"I think Hendry Cho has heard all this," she continued.

"Listen to what?" Ginny asked. Trying to be busy reading all the articles about her company. The Royals, the UK's largest perfume company which has been recognized by various parts of the world in Europe.

"That you can't lead The Royal well," the woman said quietly.

Ginny take a deep breath. She knows very well that her biggest mistake by working with a foreign company a few months ago had a very bad impact on the company and also his career.

Both The Royal and himself, received a lot of scary criticism from various parties. Even the sales of The Royals perfume had a lot of setbacks.

"I would never give this company to anyone," Ginny said quietly. She tried to control the tone of his voice so as not to sound angry or vibrate.

For Ginny, The Royals are a part of her life, her happiness that can support herself and her small family. Since childhood Ginny was raised alone by her biological mother. Her difficult life made Ginny determined that when she grew up she didn't want to make her child feel the pain she felt.

"Have you visited your mother's grave?" Ivanka asked then.

"Not yet," said Ginny. "This weekend I'm going to visit him with Fiona and Dave," Ginny continued.

Ivanka smiled as she gently patted Ginny's shoulder. "Stretch your shoulders, I'm sure you can get through this," she said.

"Certainly."

Nothing is impossible for a Ginny Albright, she is willing to do anything so that she can make her little family happy. Ginny always put material first for her life and also for Fiona and Dave.

Ginny was willing to work hard day and night so that she could provide for Fiona's needs. Her mediocre childhood life made Ginny think that all the materials she got could make herself and those closest to her feel happy.

There's nothing wrong with that, but the problem is that Ginny always hides all her sad feelings alone. She always carries the burden that she had alone.

"I can't look after Fiona tonight, please help me..." Ginny sulk at Dave.

"Are you going to another meeting?" Dave asked softly.

Ginny nodded her head. "I'm sorry Dave, I promise when all this case is over I'll be back to spend my time with you and Fiona,"

"Take care of yourself, Fiona and I miss you so much. But before you go, can we have dinner together first?"

Ginny bite her lower lip as she glanced at the watch wrapped around her wrist. Her face showed that she really had to leave immediately.

Luckily, Dave really understands Ginny's busy schedule, who is currently taking care of the good name of The Royals and also The Royals' income which is decreasing day by day.

"Go on, I know you're in a big hurry," Dave said as he rubbed the top of Ginny's head gently.

"Thanks, Dave." Ginny smiled and left.

There was something Ginny knew about Dave. About a man who has lived with him for years. Behind the affection and attention that Dave showed, Ginny knew very well that Dave was having an affair with another woman behind his back.

Ginny didn't want to show how disappointed she was for Dave, she was too busy thinking about Fiona's happiness. Over and over again Ginny blamed herself for everything that had now happened to her life.

She felt that Dave betrayed her because she couldn't work harder and couldn't give him what he wanted.

"Are you crying?" Ivanka asked from the car in the courtyard of Ginny's luxurious mansion.

"Good grief!" Ginny quickly wiped her tears and smiled at Ivanka. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"To pick you up to accompany you to a meeting," said Ivanka later.

"Go home, after all you only need to work in the office," said Ginny while still getting on Ivanka's car.

"I'm your private secretary, aren't I? I have to accompany you wherever you go," Ivanka replied and drove slowly.

Even though she is no longer young, Ivanka is still healthy and can do anything. Her husband was long gone so she preferred to accompany Ginny wherever Ginny went.

"It's about Dave?" Ivanka asked carefully. Ivanka already knew what Dave was really doing behind Ginny's back. But, he didn't have the heart to tell Ginny the truth.

"Dave?" Ginny asked back. "Of course not, how can Dave make me cry. He's the most perfect man I've ever had," said Ginny.

"Then?" "The Royals. I'm thinking about the fate of my company," said Ginny again, faster than ever.

Ivanka paused, then smiled. "Our trip today isn't for a meeting, is it?"

"Ha?" Ginny was surprised. How can the woman who is now beside her always know what she wants.

"You lied to Dave?" Ivanka asked again.

"For what? I really have a meeting. Don't you see my schedule that today I need to meet some important clients," Ginny replied.

"There is no meeting today, rest. I know you desperately contacted all important clients of The Royals and they all rejected you," said Ivanka firmly.

Ginny covered her face with her hands. It feels like the world is really against him now. How can the company he built is now almost bankrupt, and the man he loves so much is playing crazy with other women behind his back.

"Take me to that place," Ginny said quietly.

Ivanka knew very well, now Ginny was just trying to avoid Dave and didn't want to show the sadness and pressure she was experiencing in front of her husband.

"Aren't you tired?" Ivanka asked while pouring Ginny's favorite white wine.

"I just need to work even harder to make Dave and Fiona happy," Ginny said.

For Ginny, the most important thing was the happiness of the people she cared about the most. She forgets, that his happiness also needs to be found.
