Chapter 21
Jesse decided to blame Gideon for his lethargy. Not only did Gideon keep him up most of the night, Jesse wasn’t accustomed to being out and about during the day. His normal sleeping schedule was erratic at best, but it tended to be inline with the vampire’s.
Emma’s enthusiasm continued from lunch as they made their way to the Frick Museum. She had obviously done her research before they arrived, because she knew exactly where to go, and exactly what she wanted to see, and everything from the date of the work to the historical context. Jesse couldn’t help but appreciate her passion, even when it wasn’t directed at him.
