35 Don't you know I'm a man?

Damon stood perfectly still, Sienna slumped in his arms and heat radiating off her. She was flushed from the alcohol and completely pliant against him. 

Gently, he ran his thumb over her bottom lip. 

"Silly girl," He whispered, "You shouldn't do things like this. Don't you know I'm a man?"

Sienna only wrapped her arms around him tighter and her eyelids lowered until she seemed asleep. 

With seemingly no effort at all, Damon lifted her into his arms and carried her bridal style. 

How funny that this is what they were meant to do at the start but everything seemed to happen in reverse for them. 

Sienna nuzzled closer into his chest, completely asleep now and her exhales tickled the base of his throat. 

Swallowing, Damon summoned his self-control and began walking back to their room.
