[Iris’s POV]

My heart was in a million pieces by the time I reached my apartment. I was drenched from the heavy rain and held my broken treasure lightly in my trembling hands. Not bothering or caring to further investigate the gang that abducted me, I stumbled toward my room–exhausted and emotionally drained. I don’t know how long I cried for, maybe an hour?

“Who the hell even cares?” I thought.

I crashed on my warm bed and instantly fell into a deep sleep.
