Chapter 99 STAY WITH ME

Samantha’s POV

“Please stay…” Caleb said as he cupped my face with his freezing hands. “Stay with me…”

I shook my head as I slowly removed his hands from my face. “I’m sorry…” I whispered before I turned around and walked out of his house as fast as I could.

I choked in tears as I quickened my pace when I heard Caleb calling my name. You lied to me, Caleb. You were no different from Miggy. I hate you! I hate all of you!

Once I was far enough from his house, I stopped for a while, panting and sobbing. I looked at my watch and it’s already one in the morning.

I snapped my head around at the crossroads I was standing at, hoping I could find a car to ride on. Would any cabs be passing at this hour? Please…

My pulse quickened when I saw a light coming from a car heading in my direction. I immediately waved to stop it.
