Chapter 75 UNFINISHED JOB

Samantha’s POV

It was already one when we reached my apartment. “Do you want to have coffee or something before you go home?” I halted right in front of my doorstep, turning around to look at Caleb.

“I think…wine is okay.” He smirked, his hands shoved in his pockets. “It is better to help me get warm than coffee.”

My body heated when I thought of something that could get him warm too. I blushed and turned around, twisting the doorknob and easing the door open.

Pressing my lips against each other, I let him in and he followed me inside. Embarrassment washed over me as I watched his eyes roam the living room. I didn’t clean the mess that Miggy and I created last night.

“I’m sorry…” I apologized, picking up the clothes scattered on the floor and on the couch. These were the clothes I was wearing last night that Miggy ripped off from my body.

He stared into me. I bit my lip and looked down, trying not to meet his eyes.
