The Speech

You have never been treated this way ever in your life before. You can not believe it is true of a lady-in-waiting that she should pull out a chair for a princess. You feel that she has two hands of her own to pull out the chair or there are many servants around her.

The humiliation of something like that is, unthinkable. But then you realize that maybe that is exactly what she wants to do. She wants to humiliate you in front of all the people. She wants to break you down so that you can become like Lady Elizabeth. You should hang onto her every word and her every command 

You find yourself in conflict about whether you should pull out the chair or speak your mind. But then the words of the King once again rings true in your mind. He has a plan and you can not be the one that let him fail because you did not want to pull out a chair for the princess. There are much bigger things to worry about.
