Secrets of the Wicked

A plan that was supposed to involve saving her friends turned into a full-blown mess that plagues Anberine wherever she goes. The worst part is that it's not just any boy, it was the King's Son! How will she cope with her bully who now behaves like a puppy on not just any leash- her leash! Short Except- "What could you possibly want with her?" Marcus asked coldly only to pause as he saw Prince Skye show Anberine a withered purple flower which had yellow on the bottom petal that he had in his right jacket pocket. Anberine's mouth parted while her eyes as she narrowed them showed she was in disbelief, what was he up to? "Seriously...? A dead flower?" Anberine asked dryly not at all impressed by what he was up to. "Well it matches your eyes" Skye commented as he saw her newly changed violet eyes which were still not amused, clearing his throat he kept the flower visible "Violets that sparkle, flowers despite withering never suit you anymore than they do now" Skye said mentally blinking at what he was saying. 'Wait what? What did I just say?!' Prince Skye screamed mentally not believing what he had just said. 'Why did I said something so dumb?' he berated himself for the stupid comment. "What?" Marcus was left baffled while Anberine was even more confused, to prove she was confused she tilted her head and her expression showed she was completely lost. "What has he been drinking?" Anberine asked still in shock as she tried to observe any features that would have been off. "Did you sneak a sip from your father's wine cellar? Or did you hit your head when no one was looking?" Anberine asked bluntly now looking at Marcus who shrugged. "I did drink something" Prince Skye admitted causing the pair to stare at him quickly, that was odd why was he admitting anything and to them no less? "I've been drinking in your beauty and for a rat-faced girl, you look cute" he added with a sly smile. -Author's notes- Please let me know what you think, feedback and comments are truly appreciated. Teach Me!

"'(Yeah annoying huh? One minute I was having a date and the next you took over at the lake! Really regret swimming now")' the voice muttered grudgingly, however Skye was more interested by what the voice said.

'So what you know what happened and why I blacked out?' Skye asked.

Skye tested the waters with this 'voice' as he listened intently to the reply.

Snorted coldly the voice responded.

'(Of course, only you hadn't blacked out)' the voice replied calmly to Skye's annoyance.

'Of course I did how else do you explain the gap in my memory?' Skye asked as he kept his hands in his pockets.

The prince almost jumped as Morgause opened the door and handed him a basket containing food.

"She had better eat it, that girl looks like a bag of bones now a days" Morgause said before closing the door in front of him causing him to wince from the force of the blow.

Skye immediately cleared his throat and walked away briskly in hopes of avoiding people's gaze.

'Hey you didn't answer my question' Skye ranted at the voice that remained quiet.

'(You should know, why do I need to spell it out for you? Now hurry up it's almost seven)' the voice scolded to Skye's disgust as he twitched angrily.

"Just going crazy aren't I? Lovely" Skye muttered sarcastically as walked up the stairs leading to the room Anberine was located at.

"Just hurry up" the voice remained cold as Skye opened the door to Anberine's anger.

"What?" Anberine snapped as she glared at him from her seat.

"Look Morgause told me to give this to you, you're not eating properly" Skye said as he dumped it on her desk to her anger.

"What's that got to do with you-HEY!" Anberine snapped thanks to Skye grabbing her potion's book.

"Give it back to me now! NOW!" Anberine screamed as she fought Skye for the book.

"Not unless you eat-" Anberine grabbed a purple vial and threw the contents at Skye, to his shock everything went dark.

Huffing in anger Anberine grabbed her book was now on the floor next to a pile of clothes and went back to work.

"Ribbit!" Anberine almost snorted from the voice as she resumed putting ingredients to the cauldron.

"Ribbit Ribbit!" Skye's clothes started to shake as the pile was left on the floor, Anberine's body shook as a chuckle tried to escape her lips knowing what the cause was.

"I was hoping for some quiet... I'll settle for that I guess" she sighed while stirring the brew calmly while watching the moving pile from the corner of her eye, eventually a tiny green webbed hand escaped the collar of the blazer followed by a disgruntled set of beady black eyes.

"Ribbit? Ribbit Ribbit Ribbit!" the frog croaked in what appeared to be a scolding tone, seeing this Anberine pursed her lips as a smile now fought it's way to her mouth.

"That's a nice look to you sire, just don't get mucus on your clothes" Anberine said to Skye's chagrin.

'Mucus? WHAT HAS SHE DONE?!' Skye screamed in horror as he now saw his hands had become webbed green hands.

Looking at her in desperation Skye released a series of croaks before pausing as he realised that he was the source of the croaking.

'You turned me into a frog?!"' Skye screamed crossly now wanting to get up the table and scold her more than ever.

"Should of used a silencer spell" Anberine muttered coldly before glaring at him.

"Look I'm working on important medicine can you shut up until I'm done please?" Anberine snapped silencing Skye.

'Turn me back then!' Skye snapped while croaking in protest earning him a loud groan from the upset girl.

"Can't you ever be selfless for one moment?! I'm really trying to get this medicine NOT potion done! It's for someone ill so shut up SKYE!" Anberine bellowed.

Skye as he heard her screaming reeled at how furious she was becoming.

Upset at the injustice he simmered down before folding his arms.

'Flipping woman! Who does she think she is?!' Skye snapped mentally.

'(Instead of acting like an idiot might want to look at what she's doing)' The voice muttered dryly at how foolish Skye was being, forcing himself not to flush in anger Skye tried to climb up the chair only it was proving hard to his dismay.

As he was halfway up the chair, Skye had somehow ended up falling and hit the floor with a thump. A sigh soon entered his ears as he heard a light thump on the table.

"I can't even concentrate with you around" Anberine said wearily as she covered her forehead with her hand, eventually she got up and picked up the struggling prince by the back of his neck before he fell off the chair a sixth time.

"Just be quiet I'm really doing important stuff and if it goes wrong" Anberine stopped as she plopped him beside the basket so she could work in peace.

Glaring at her weakly Skye hopped towards the book and moved so he could see the contents.

'(Medicine for pneumonia and infections?)' Skye blinked owlishly before looking at Anberine's sad face, seeing how troubled she looked made Skye shrink slightly in guilt.

'(Wow what a nice guy you are)' the voice said in a condescending tone.

'Look I didn't know okay!'

'(Because you never asked! Did you?)' Skye pursed his lips before pointing at the book.

"Ribbit!" Skye croaked catching Anberine's attention.

"Well if you arrived on time I would have taught you how to make it" Anberine said bluntly to his surprise.

"Look I'm doing this for a friend because the king's upping the medicine prices, right now ingredients in the Dark Realm are scarce thanks to the conditions. Plus the taxes are too high to even allow them to afford a doctor. Those who can well they're lucky" Anberine shrugged as she jumped slightly as the cauldron popped a large bubble.

Skye hearing the bubble jumped and croaked in surprise, to his relief Anberine seeing that he was about to fall caught him in the nick of time.

Skye frowned after recovering from the fall looked at Anberine.

'Hey teach me!' Skye croaked as he pointed at himself and then the book repeatedly, raising a brow Anberine pursed the left side of her lip.

"Given how rude you've been-"

'Look I'm sorry okay! I didn't know! Can you change me back so we can start the lesson since it's a free day?' Skye croaked while placing his hands on his hips.

Raising a brow Anberine stared at him until he made a pleading look in order to show that he was being sincere.

"I must be a glutton for punishment" Anberine muttered heavily before placing him on the floor by his clothes.

"Once you change back put your clothes on straight away" Anberine instructed as she dumped a drop of neon green liquid on his head.
