"SHIT." How the hell did Elrich find where Mia lived. Alex swore he made sure no one knew. Fear wasn't in my dictionary yet, the unwelcome emotion made my heart pound against my chest.

"Logan loosen your grip or you'll break the damn steering wheel." Laura's voice had woke me up from my own trance. I forgot Alex and her were both in the car. She could be anywhere, Mia didn't deserve this life.

"You wanna drive be my guest." I say with a little more sarcasm than I intended. But what was I supposed to do, they were supposed to protect her from his pack. She was mine.

Mine. When the hell did I decide that? I hold back my growl. My wolf already claimed her, but when did I allow that. Mia wasn't even a wolf as far as we knew.
