Chapter 6 : The Reveal

We all sat surrounding the fireplace. I watch the flames flicker gracefully. How could something so calming be just as dangerous? It was like a ghost town, the silence mocking me with the unknown. I was lost in thought I hadn't realized Alex moving beside me.
