Liu Kai woke up early and walked to the rooftop to get a glimpse of the city.

'Jin Chow is right. This is beautiful.' Liu Kai thought to himself.

Nature took over and reclaimed the entire area, rendering the barren land magnificent. No matter how many times you see it, it still gives you peace of mind and boosts your overall mood.

'Fang Shi, once stood at the top as one of the most significant countries in Xennog. Nature took ahold of it, but it still has a delightful spectacle to offer.' Liu Kai said to himself.

Larvae of giant mosquitoes are swarming with raw sewage water in the roads, and they appear like giant serpents creeping around in search of prey. Well, most of the larvae consume bacteria, mushrooms, and planktons. But because they're so tall, they could think humans are microorganisms and consume them once they've been spotted.

After walking on the edge of the town, Liu Kai closed his eyes to feel his breath. The air inside Fang Shi is abnormally thinner. Countries that collide with each other can cause abrupt changes in atmospheric pressure.

The world hasn't been the same since he woke up. The entire geography changed, and he wondered what the world's map would look like after the changes.

The concept would make sense since the geography adjusted if the altitude was low, the high and low-pressure region would also change, although much of the time, the air was cooler at the lower height due to gravity.

But for a low altitude location like Fang Chi to have thin air, where the air is expected to be denser, it's pretty troubling.

The altitude is so low that the sea level or high tide has filled the whole town, which makes no sense for Liu Kai.

'Something abnormal is causing it.' Liu Kai thought to himself, considering all the factors that can affect the situation.

Jin Chow and Sergio Von Croy got up and went to the roof to join Liu Kai.

Sergio Von Croy walked towards Liu Kai, seated at the corner of the house, closed his eyes, and reached his shoulder.

"You're early." Sergio Von Croy said.

Liu Kai opened his eyes, gazing at Sergio Von Croy.

"Yeah, I've got a lot of stuff on my head," Liu Kai responded.

"It would take a week or two for your body to get used to this environment. Breathing is intense, as you already know, and it dulls our senses," Sergio Von Croy said.

"My stamina here is also weaker. I'm going to get tired rapidly. Why is it?"Jin Chow asked him, walking next to them.

"That's the side effect of the situation we're in right now. Muscles absorb a lot of oxygen to turn it into energy. If air is scarce, muscles won't generate a lot of energy. That's why we get exhausted quickly." Liu Kai explained to them, still staring at the spectacles, standing at the building's edge.

"Which means that if we fight here for a long time, breathing would be a lot tougher, right?" Jin Chow asked a clarification question.

"I don't know the science behind it like Liu Kai, but that's true. To make the process quicker, you need to move your body constantly to adjust here," added Sergio Von Croy.

"That's right. Our bodies, particularly our lungs, will do their hardest to get more oxygen than normal to help our muscles' needs," said Liu Kai.

"Running through this position can be risky, and we could be killed in an instant. While in training, you need to be sure you don't lower your guards," Sergio Von Croy said.

"So, what are we going to do to drive our body to do that all the time?" asked Jin Chow.

"We need to stay together while cautiously exploring this location. We're going to face a lot of giant insects, so we need to avoid combat as far as we can." Sergio Von Croy told his idea, teaching them inside Fang Shi.

"I have an idea," said Liu Kai.

"Go ahead," answered Sergio Von Croy and Jin Chow.

"After breakfast, let's start practicing at this place to escape the danger of moving at night. If we still have stamina after that, we're going to spar with each other to practice fighting in this setting," said Liu Kai.

Sergio Von Croy grinned, "It's a reasonable idea. I'm going to support that for our training regimen. The attempt to penetrate other eastern countries will depend on the time we have until then."

Everybody agreed, and the three of them roasted the larva they had captured for breakfast.

The preparation began for about an hour after they had breakfast.

They are moving from building to building using the tree branches and the vines. Sergio Von Croy is in the front, while Liu Kai and Jin Chow are in the back.

They step carefully to avoid the larvae leaping out of the water, attempting to attack them.

They need to stop to catch their breath from time to time. Jin Chow is always whining about the lack of air while Liu Kai is still silent.

To be honest, Liu Kai is the one having a hard time the most. He didn't get any training from the Xennog's Monarchy like the other two, and his stats are behind by a lot compared to the two.

But he didn't whine about the hardships, and his eyes remained sharp. He's trying to catch up with the other two by overdoing himself.

For their whole training activity, he promised not to use his skill if it's unnecessary.

'Well, technically relying on Berserk is awful as it will reduce your agility. But thanks to my Alter, it isn't.'

'If I can raise my stats while not in 'Berserk,' that would mean that I will be much stronger when 'Berserk' is activated. It's so simple, but getting stronger will take a lot of time, but now the time is limited.' Liu Kai thought to himself.

Sergio Von Croy can see the eagerness to get better from Liu Kai's eyes when he stares at him while he rests.

'I hope Jin Chow won't fall behind.' Sergio thought to himself.

'I'll get the most out of this training.' Liu Kai and Jin Chow said to themselves while gasping for air.
