Flynn Schneider grabbed more daggers from his pouch, placing it on each of his fingers' gaps before forming a knuckle.

"ALRIIIIIIIGHT!!!!"

Flynn Schneider shouted and quickly threw one of his daggers to Liu Kai, but he quickly dodged it.

'Knife throwing!?'

Clang, clang, clang!

Flynn Schneider threw his daggers at Liu Kai in succession, but he deflected all of them.

"You're at a disadvantage against me," said Liu Kai, deflecting all the daggers thrown at him.

"We'll see."

'I'll wait for him to throw all of his daggers and beat him in close combat.'

Clang, clang, clang!

After about fifty daggers, Flynn Schneider ceased his assaults. But there's no trace of worries on his face despite all of those daggers.

"You're finished!"

"It was you who's finished!"

Flynn Schneider raised his right arm and showed his palm to Liu Kai. He narrowed his eyes, pointing his palm to Liu Kai's body.

'What is he doing!?'

Liu Kai looked around and noticed the daggers swirling in the air, surrounding him.

'What!?'

He looked back at Flynn Schneider, and he saw him squeeze his hand. Simultaneously, all the daggers pointed at Liu Kai and rushed swiftly towards him.

ACCCCCKKK!!!!

The daggers pierced through his layer of armors and punctured his skin, creating shallow wounds on his skin.

'Damn it... I didn't pay attention after the daggers got past my body.'

Liu Kai collapsed to the ground, full of daggers on his back, as the blood stained his clothes.

'What a tough armor! My blades did not dig deep into his skin. He's still alive.'

Flynn Schneider opened his hand again. The daggers vibrated, trying to detach themselves from Liu Kai's body on the ground.

The daggers swirled in the air, pointing at Liu Kai's body. Once again, Flynn pointed his palm at Liu Kai and quickly squeezed it. The daggers responded rapidly and tried to stab Liu Kai, but he rolled over the ground at the last second to avoid it.

The daggers stabbed the ground, forming the shape of Liu Kai's lying body on the ground earlier.

Liu Kai stood up and glanced at the daggers.

'He aimed it perfectly. So he planned on putting those daggers all over my body!?'

He clenched his fist and switched his gaze at Flynn Schneider, smiling at him.

Liu Kai dashed towards Flynn Schneider and leaped in the air to stab him. But Flynn Schneider hurled another dagger at him.

'What!? He still has more!?'

Liu Kai tilted his body in the air, evading the dagger thrown at him. He fell and rolled over the ground several times.

"You're getting the wrong idea. You're not getting anywhere close to me!"

Flynn Schneider revealed more daggers, swirling and revolving around his body.

"This can't be." Liu Kai's eyes widened, estimating the number of daggers surrounding Flynn Schneider.

In one quick look, the number of daggers easily exceeded one thousand. The daggers earlier pulled themselves on the ground and joined the others, swirling and revolving around Flynn Schneider.

"Now, be my human cactus!"

Flynn Schneider extended his arm and closed his eyes as he looked up to the sky. The daggers immediately stopped spinning in the air and pointed at Liu Kai.

"Damn it. Run!!!"

Liu Kai jumped out from the building and flung one of his kamas on the lower floor window while holding the other. The kama pinned itself to the wall, and he used its chain to climb the building.

Once in, he ran inside while the daggers pursued him anywhere he went.

'Is there no limit range for this!? How's this even possible!? He can't even see me now, but it's still following me,' he complained, tossing objects inside the building to the daggers to create some space.

Liu Kai thought about going back to the top floor to find a way to stop the daggers, or else he won't win. He's sure that there's a certain distance the daggers can travel, but just like his Treants, it looked like the daggers could move far from the owner.

'When he stabbed me earlier, he's manipulating the daggers manually by aiming his hand at me. But now, the daggers are moving on their own.'

'Wait... he extended his arm and closed his eyes before these daggers followed me.'

'He's still controlling the daggers. That's why he can't move in his place. I need to do something about him to stop these daggers.'

Liu Kai jumped out from a different window and threw one of his kamas to the top floor, pinning it to the ground, and he quickly climbed back on top.

He immediately searched for Flynn Schneider, who's still standing in his spot earlier. Liu Kai dashed forward as the daggers followed him, coming out from the window like swarming bees.

Flynn Schneider left half of his daggers swirling and revolving around him, protecting himself from anyone who attempts to stop his skill.

Clang, clang, clang!!

'He's prepared for this. This is absolute defense and offense simultaneously,' figured Liu Kai, deflecting the daggers coming at him while standing several meters from Flynn Schneider.

The daggers surrounding Flynn Schneider formed a twister, blocking all the paths to get closer to him.

"Thanks for slicing off my arm. Now I can effortlessly control my daggers by being connected to them."

The daggers stopped targeting Liu Kai and swarmed around Flynn Schneider. Some daggers stabbed the hole in his sliced off arm, forming a new metal arm for him out of the daggers.

He inhaled a lot of air to his nose and said, "Ahhh~ This is nice. I unite my daggers and me. I shall thank you for that, young man. I am going to make you my human cactus for your reward. Isn't that a great privilege for a low life like you?"

Liu Kai didn't react and just looked down on the ground. His eyes can't be seen because of the shadows of his hair.

'Lowlife, huh!?'
