53 Giant Cursed Tree
Liu Kai walked towards the Giant Cursed Tree's direction, still holding his scythes around the giant bugs who are still frozen on their feet.
The short scythes that manifested Liu Kai's sovereignty glowed from afar while he continued to walk. Just like Chief Brashford told them, the weapons are forged with their blood and will resonate with them once their skill is activated.
The giant assassin bug suddenly appeared in front of Liu Kai, trying to stop him from getting any closer to the Giant Cursed Tree, but...
"Get out of my way!" Liu Kai screamed at it, causing the bug terrified, seeing his dark fiery murderous eyes. The giant assassin bug shivers in fear, unlike earlier, where it tried to face him head-on.
"You're being annoying, inferior creature. Now begone!" ordered Liu Kai before he pounced forward and continuously sliced the bug.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Now you're behaving like a proper bug," said Liu Kai, slicing the bug into a thousand pieces. The thick plant-armor and exoskeleton that prevailed over his attacks before are now easily penetrated and crumble on Liu Kai's might.

Liu Kai can't stop shaking as he chuckled, seeing the helpless carcass trying to restore its body. He continued to run as he sliced everything on his path. Not even trees are safe, as it all fell in one swoop on his slash.
Huff... huff... huff...
He had to stop in front of the tree to catch his breath, but he's having a hard time because there's no air left in the tank. He immediately removed the mask and threw it on the ground with the tank without thinking twice.
"That's your biggest mistake!" He heard a woman's voice came out from the Giant Cursed Tree, attacking him with a gust of lovely and sweet fragrance.
Sniff, sniff, sniff.
Liu Kai inhaled the sweet aroma as he walked closer to the oak. Vines began to come out on the ground and wrapped around Liu Kai, who was walking closer.
"Hahahaha! You're going to be my strongest minion, and together we're going to conquer this entire planet!" The woman's voice continued to speak, delighted at the development of the situation.
Liu Kai smirked, not worried even a bit before the vines engulfed his whole body.

"What just happened?" mumbled Liu Kai, who fell on the ground, standing on his feet and narrowed his eyes to check the screen in front of him.
He suddenly widened his eyes and whispered, "Sergio, Chow!"
He held his head using his both hands from the pain and took a few steps backward as he instantly remembered Sergio's surprised face when he pounced forward to slash him, and Chow's mad face urging him to snap out of his fury while his scythe was on Chow's throat.
"This is the last time I can use my skill for the day. Liu Kai, snap out of it! Let's fall back!"
"Snap out of it, Liu Kai!"
Jin Chow and Sergio Von Croy's voices kept echoing in his head, triggering an excruciating pain that weakened his whole body. Liu Kai rolled over the ground several times, trying to ease the agony he feels, but it is to no avail.
"Why did I do that?" He asked himself while still holding his head, closed eyes, and making a sorry face as he rolled on the ground.
He stopped and opened his eyes and thought, 'Something's wrong with me. After I saw that guy emerging from the mirror... everything went crazy.'
'I didn't know that this was gonna happen. How can I face them now?' Liu Kai thought to himself.
