He was responded by a spine-tingling sound from the now foggy forest along with owls' hootings and deers' bleatings.

He stood up and searched for branches to burn in the night. He traveled to areas where he could still get his eyesight on Jin Chow at any moment. Sounds made by his footsteps crunching over the twigs gave him an eerie feeling.

With Liu Kai's improved perception, he strolled, doing his hardest not to think about it all.

"This is giving me chills," he confessed, embracing the branches he had picked up earlier.

He went back and started a fire a couple of meters away from the sleeping Jin Chow, snoring like a pig. He's envious, hearing him snoring and as he also wanted to sleep.

"But I'm hungry." He agonized after hearing his stomach cry. He went back to the forest to look for food.

"Where are the deers and owls in the background earlier, intimidating me like they own this forest?" he said to himself as he walked sleepily, staring at his surroundings. He even picked up more branches on his way, making him hit two birds in one stone.

GROAAAAH!!!

"AHHCKK!!!" Liu Kai screamed as he dropped and hurled the branches to the bear, roaring at him.

The bear was threatening to bite his face off, but Liu Kai was protecting himself by holding its neck to keep him from swallowing his face.

"Ahhhhck! Don't come closer!" Liu Kai begged with his back on the ground. The bear's saliva fell to his face, still trying to bite him.

"Ewww, disgusting." He threw the bear sideways after realizing how powerful he is. It rolled a couple of times before facing him again.

"Heh! I'm still not used to the changes and act scared in an instinct. I killed a Giant Wasp. You're just a bear." He expressed after he stood up off the ground.

"Come! I'll show you who's the actual beast between us." Liu Kai raised his arms and formed a box with his fist.

GROAAAAH!!!

The bear roared and rushed towards him and pounced to bite his head. The bear flew back after Liu Kai's fist met the bear's chin in the air. For the second time, the bear rolled over the ground several times.

"Stand up!" Liu Kai ordered while glaring at the bear on the ground, who hasn't fully recovered from the uppercut.

"Liu Kai, you must save the world before it's too late."

"They will come eventually."

"You need to get stronger!"

"AHHHHHH!!!" Liu Kai gasped for air, holding his chest as he panted.

He saw Jin Chow cooking the bear's remaining body after eating some of it yesterday.

"What happened?" Liu Kai asked after waking up, full of sweat and panting.

"I don't know. I just saw this food when I woke up and… I'm hungry, so I started a fire to cook it." Jin Chow replied innocently while sitting on a rock and searing meat. The bear's half body is lying on the floor, not too far away from Jin Chow.

'The voice... it's the same voice of this game like system.' Liu Kai fixed his gaze to the floor on his right side, looking at nothingness, thinking about it.

"Are you okay now?" Liu Kai asked Jin Chow, worriedly looking at him while burning the meat.

"Yeah, somehow." Jin Chow answered nonchalantly.

"About yesterday, It's just a glimpse, but I think I saw a human." Jin Chow declared.

"A human? How?" Liu Kai narrowed his eyes.

"Yeah, at first I thought it's an aircraft attacking us from above. But after going up, before I could even activate my skill, I saw the attack descending, and a human with a bird face hit me." Jin Chow explained.

"What? How is that possible? There are creatures like that too?" Liu Kai raised his right eyebrow.

"No, no, no. I think he's wearing a mask." Jin Chow replied.

"A human wearing a bird mask?" Liu Kai asked.

"Yeah, that's what I can remember before I lost consciousness." Jin Chow said.

Liu Kai re-imagined the power of the attacks yesterday and refused to believe it's a human.

'A human, huh? If it's true, then the enemy is not staying above.' Liu Kai's eyes shone on what he speculated.

'But why can't we see him after an attack?'
