Leaving the Monroe's mansion behind, Ray had stared at the car mirror as he watched Ella leave, along with her bodyguards.

"Sir, is everything okay? I was surprised to hear that the Monroe family was having their daughter marry someone else. I had no idea, I would've informed you beforehand." Ray's subordinate; Zo asked.

"It's okay." Ray said. "Even though I was insulted, a certain person had helped lift my reputation. I'm sure the Monroe family are regretting their actions right now. After how much they humiliated me, they will be walking on an egg shell around Ella."

"So what about the task I gave you, have there been any progress?" He asked.

"Yes sir, I found out that your parents were in some type of secret association called the Stamen. And in this list are the names of the old and new members."

Zo explained as she pulled out a usb device from her chest pocket and handed it over to Ray who had immediately inserted it into his phone.

A logo was displayed showing the words Stamen, and soon after a list had appeared showing each of the members of this secret association.

Among the members of this association was the Monroe family. Seeing this, Ray couldn't be more surprised since in the beginning he had suspected the Monroe family to be involved in his parents' death.

And another reason why he had decided to marry Grace Monroe was so he could find out more about them. There's a certain room in the Monroe's mansion that was only accessible by Bruce.

Whatever was in that room, Bruce seems to be hiding it from everyone, including his wife and daughter. He would go out at night and come back with a bag full of things, only for it to be deposited into that room.

If Ray could manage to meander into the room, then maybe he would find an evidence attaching Bruce to the death of his parents.

But since the marriage with Grace hadn't gone through, all his initial plan to invade Bruce's secret room had been ruined.

"I also found out that each members of the association would have someone from their family join the group before they die. Or they could write down the name of whoever they wish to succeed them, and the group will make attempts to invite them into the association." Zo said.

This explained why there was an old list of members and the new list. From the old list, he could find the name of his parents; Hannah and John Smith, but on the new list, there wasn't any.

As for the Monroe family, Bruce was on the old list and was still present in the new list. Sane for some other members who had yet to die and are still present in the new list.

Moreover though, as he went through the list of members, he had spotted a specific name he wasn't expecting to see.

"The Queen's family?"

It turns out that Ella's father, George Queen was also among the members of the Stamen group.

But he knew he was dead, Ella had mentioned it a few times on the night they first met. Which means someone else must have succeeded him.

Curious to know who it was, he had decided to check the new list. And upon checking it, the name of a female had appeared on it.

"I guess we're meant to marry after all." Ray said with a smile which raised his cheek upward.

"Seeing you smile, I guess you must have found something interesting." Zo said, feeling quite happy for completing, yet another task for Ray.

"Yeah, after the incident with the Monroe family, I thought my plan has been ruined, but it seems like it hasn't. Another path has been paved before me, and I think I might like this one."

"You might not be aware but Ella Queen had asked for me to marry her. And after seeing this list, I think I might be considering her offer." Ray stated.

"So what should I do next?" Mia asked, ready for her next task.

"First, where did you get this list? I would like to know more about their association, what their goal and objective is, where their meetings are held. Every goddamn thing about them."

At that moment, the car had stopped in front of a hotel as they have gotten to their destination. It was the same hotel Ray had lodged in the previous night. Just that he hadn't slept alone.

"A certain criminal from the black prison had this list, he claimed to have stolen the USB from one of the members of the Stamen group. So I took it from him, but it took a while before I could access the file."

"Thanks to my hacking skills, I was able to get through level one easily. And if you give me more time, I should be able to unlock the rest of files soon." Mia replied.

"Alright, I'll put my trust in you." He said as he handed back the USB to her.

"I also want you to do something. Tomorrow morning, summon the soldier called Simon Grayson."

"Simon Grayson? You mean the one that is getting married to Grace Monroe? I didn't know he was in the army. If so, he should be punished for humiliating a high ranking officer in the public." Zo said with a frown.

"I'm aware, that's why I want you to inform him tomorrow that the general wants to see him. We'll be meeting at this hotel. This is where I'll be giving my punishment, and also decide his fate in the army."

"Understood Sir." Zo replied with a nod. "What else, Sir?"

"Yeah, about the wedding. I may have worn a cheap suit to the Monroe's party, but for my wedding with Ella Queen, I want the best of the suits you could get. After all, I don't want to embarrass my future wife with my dressing." Ray chuckled.

Zo had nodded once again in knowledge of his words. "Yes sir, I'll see to it that I buy the best of the best suit for your wedding."
