2 New Class

Lucien was very happy to see that he had gained a Class on the same level as the Hunters who had stood at the top of the world in his previous life. He wanted to see what the outline of his Class was, so he thought about opening his status.

Stolen Magic:

"This is an amazing status, my Class's stats are amazing compared to my old one, and even my lowest stat is relatively good. This skill looks like it will be incredibly helpful as well, if I can use the magic of other Hunters and monsters then I will surely be the strongest. I have to go register as a Hunter."

Lucien sprinted down the stairs of his house, planning to register himself as a Hunter as soon as possible. However, this wasn't as quick as he had hoped, as there was an element of his life from when he was younger that he had suppressed deep down due to its horrific nature, school.

His mom, who had long blonde hair and blue eyes greeted him, "You ready for school Lucien? I've made you a bacon sandwich to have before you go."

"I'm not ready, but I did just awaken as a Hunter."

"Congratulations! I know you've been waiting for this for a long time. What Class did you gain?"

"I'm a Warlock, it seems pretty strong."

"That's great to hear, I'm going to have to brag to all of my friends about how great my son is, but just because you've awakened doesn't mean you can skip out on school, go get ready."

Lucien couldn't go against his mother, so he went upstairs to his room and got changed into his suit. It was a simple black suit, with a white shirt and red tie. He went back downstairs and ate his bacon sandwich quickly.

"Thanks for breakfast mom, I'll see you later."

Lucien left the house, and began his walk to school. When he was around halfway through his walk, he felt a tap on his back that he hadn't felt in a long time, he looked to his right and saw a girl that was quite a bit shorter than him, as he was 6' and she was only 5'3. She had slightly longer than shoulder length black hair, and slightly tanned skin. This was Yui, who had been friends with Lucien since they were kids.

Seeing her made Lucien remember the tragedy in which she lost her life, which was the same day that he had awakened. He remembered how he refused to hang out with her after school, as he wanted to register as a Hunter instead, and she was caught up in a Dungeon Break that led to her death.

"How you doing? Anything exciting happen to you recently?"

Lucien smiled, "How did you know?"

"My mom told me that you awakened, your mom seemed very excited, Mr Warlock."

"I'll make sure to remember this when you awaken so I can mock you twice as hard."

Lucien and Yui walked to school, and he felt as if nothing from his past life had ever happened and everything would be fine.

When they got to school, they both only had one lesson as they had English together. It was an uneventful lesson, and nothing really happened.

Once the lesson ended, Lucien and Yui continued talking and she asked him a question, "Do you want to hang out after this, I was planning on going into town and looking around the shops."

Lucien had said no to this offer in his previous life, and this led to a terrible tragedy, "Sure thing, we should probably get changed first though, I'll meet you at the bus stop by mine."

They both walked home together, and went into their own houses, Lucien's mom was out so he went straight upstairs to get changed. He put on a black pair of shorts and a white t-shirt with a simple graphic design on the back.

When he left his house, he walked to the bus stop that was quite close to his home, and sat for around ten minutes while waiting for Yui to arrive. When she did show up, she was wearing a black skirt, black knee high socks, and a white shirt. Lucien thought she looked good, but he didn't mention it, as he was more focused on making sure she stayed alive.

They got on the next bus, and after a fifteen minute drive, they arrived in the town centre and got off of the bus. They started walking through the streets, chatting as they went, and despite nothing interesting happening in any of the shops, this was soon to change.

Lucien and Yui had left a clothing shop after laughing at how terrible the array of clothes they had on sale was, and they were greeted by a group of three grown men that looked incredibly sleazy.

The first man had greasy short hair and was wearing a wife-beater tank top, he was around 5'7 and overweight. The second man was much skinnier, and around 5'11 with a balding head. The third man was almost a mix between the two, hair that looked as though it could fall out at any moment, skinny legs but a fat body, and about 5'9.

The first man spoke in a slimy voice that exuded an aura of general grossness, "Hey beautiful, how about you come and hang out with us three guys, I bet you we're much more fun than him."

The second man also spoke, "We can teach you things you've never even heard of before? What do you think?"

Yui looked very uncomfortable, "I'm good, bye. Let's go Lucien, we've still got a lot to do."

Lucien didn't speak, and he followed in Yui's steps as she tried to turn to walk away. However, the third man attempted to grab her arm, only to be intercepted by Lucien's hand.

This caused the man to lash out, "Get your hand off of me! I wasn't doing anything wrong you asshole, I swear to god I'll sue you!"

Lucien didn't want to hear any more of the man's whining, so he head-butted him which caused the man to fall unconscious immediately due to his increased strength since he awakened.

The other two men looked shocked, and picked up their friend before running away.

"That was a bit much don't you think? I could've just run away if I needed to."

"It'll be fine, don't worry about it."

Lucien and Yui went back to their shopping, and after around fifteen minutes, something even worse than before happened.

The sounds of people screaming began to ring out throughout the town centre, and Lucien thought he knew why. He looked around, and spotted an enemy that was quite common inside of the low level circular, blue and purple dungeons.

The classification of dungeons was simple, there were five colours of dungeon, and five shapes. Red dungeons contained physical attacking monsters, blue dungeons contained magic combat monsters, purple was a mixture of the two, gold meant a dungeon contained a great treasure and no monsters, and green meant that an item could be acquired by completing a trial.

The shape of a dungeon was also important, as it symbolised their difficulty, circular dungeons were low rank, rectangular were medium rank, triangle were high rank, star is the highest rank, and a dungeon which has a fluctuating shape is a unique dungeon that can have a random difficulty.

The enemy that Lucien had seen was a Goblin Shaman, it was very weak physically, and could use some low level magic attacks that were threatening to low rank Hunters, especially those who were yet to unlock any good skills.

He could tell that the monster had its sights focused on himself and Yui, and it was readying a magic attack. A ball of fire began to develop at the tip of its staff, and Lucien was confused by this.
