His mind picked up what happened last night, is she embarrassed or not happy with him? Did he force her last night? No he didn't, he has never forced a woman in his life and why would he with his little Elaine? He could remember she wanted him too and she said it as well, so what went wrong? This was not the setting he hoped to wake up and see. He had hoped to see her beside him, to smile and kiss her, not to find her missing.

He had hoped for last night to bring them closer, to make them a couple! He heaved a sigh and decided to fetch the water, maybe she will be at home by now waiting for him. He drew out the water and filled the buckets. He carried them home, hoping upon all hope to see Elaine but when he got home, it was just the way he left it.
