Chapter 17: Lost
In a forest
A young man could be seen walking around wearing a robe .
A sword on his hip and a piece of paper in his hand .
The boy continued to walk for sometime but soon he stopped.
"So... No big deal i am just lost ..."
He looked at the map and the surrounding he is in and then again at the map .
"This might be a guess.... But I think I bought the wrong map ..."
The boy removed his robe covering his head as sweat started drop from him dangerously.
"It's been 10 days.... I have no food or water with me anymore.... All of this is because of that good for nothing dad of mine !! Why did he have to give me a mission to search for a person!! Why can't I just kill some monsters or something!!"
This is Magnus .
He is on the mission he got from his father.
Find a person who is lost for 40 years.....
Easy right ?? Right ?
"No !!! I hate this !! Only if I had my previous memories. I could have used them to navigate this unknown forest . Oh wait a minute... "
Magnus said as he looked at the screen.
Yeah he is talking about you . The person who says reincarnating without memories is stupid .
Ahem ahem .
Going back .
"I still remember when a weird blue monster threw some food at me pitying me.... "

A near dead magnus could be seen on the ground with no food and water .
A passing by monster that blue scales and was really small looked at him and then his half eaten fruit .
" Here you go.. "
It placed it's fruit on the ground near Magnus and walked away .

"That was humiliating... I don't want talk about what I did with the fruit..."
Magnus kept on walking aimlessly.
As he was about to give up he heard a huge scream .
Ahhh!!
He sensed that there was someone few meters away from him and he also sensed a monster there
He quickly rushed there and soon he found the person who screamed.
He saw a woman with basket as she was standing infront of huge bear with a horn .
"Ahh go away don't come near me !!!"
Magnus looked at this and started to run towards the monster .
"Hey big guy why don't you pick someone your own size !!"
Magnus shouted trying to get the bear away from the woman .
The bear turned around .
The woman also saw Magnus
"Please save me !!"
The woman saw Magnus and started to run towards him .
"Stay there it..."
The next second the woman walking right through the bear making hole in its body .
"Please save me !!" She continued to run towards Magnus.
Magnus looked at her with dumbfounded eyes as he looked at the bear who was also looking at her with dumbfounded eyes .

"So you are telling me you came here searching for someone??"
The woman and Magnus were walking out of the forest .
"Yes I was given a mission to find this person but i got lost hahaha.."
Magnus said awkwardly.
"Ahh don't worry I always get lost too haha infact I faced that bear because I was lost hehe."
"Ohh..."
Magnus nodded along but the he remembered something.
"Wait... Then are we lost now ?"
"Oh don't worry about it "
Magnus sighed .
"Oh so we aren't. I got scared for a second there haha "
" We just have to walk in this direction and we will eventually reach my village hahaha "
Magnus stared at her for a second.
'Why do i have a feeling that the old man sent me on this mission knowing I will not make it back.... '
Magnus started to cry inside.
"Ohh how lucky we actually reached the village in less than 5 days"
Magnus immediately looked in that direction as he saw a small village with less that 200 houses .
Magnus and the woman reached her house as she burst through the door .
"Honey I am home !!!"
She ran inside with joy .
Magnus awkwardly enters the room from the hole the woman made .
"Oh honey you are back I missed you. .."
Magnus heard the voice and thought.
'How does a man that is living with a freaking strong woman like her look like ? '
He walked inside to see the woman hugging a man who was 6'9 with white hair and beard as he had a happy smile in his face .
"Whole mother of God . It's a giant!!"
Magnus Stared at the hunking piece of man in shock .
"Ohh we have a guest i didn't know that "
The man let go of his wife and looked at Magnus with a smile .
"Ahh forgot. This young man saved me from a horned bear when I was lost !"
She started to explain the whole situation .
"I think save js a strong word . It was more like awkward bystander..."
The man understood what was happening and started to smile .
"Hahaha whatever that situation maybe I have to thank you so how about freshing up..."
*Gru!! gru!! gru!!
A huge sound resounded throughout the house
"Haha I am sorry about that "
The woman said with a smile .
Magnus looked suprised.
"Ohh come on honey I made food for you and Jun is still sleeping so let's go eat , please join us I am sure you are hungry "
Magnus nodded along as he dropped the bag he was carrying in his robe .
A paper fell from the bag as he picked it up .
" Ohh what's that ? "
The woman saw the paper as there was picture of a man on it .
This was the target that Magnus has to find .
He was man with white hair and careless smile .
He has his sword on his shoulder.
"This is a picture of the man i am searching for but.... Sigh it's too difficult to find him . Maybe I should go ba..."
As he was about to say anything further he put the picture beside the infront of him. .
He looked at the picture and at the man then at the picture again at the man .
The woman also joined as both of them started to look at the man suspicious.
" Say.... Mister "
The man Started to back away as both of them started to get closer.
" Haha what is it .... "
He said awkwardly.
" Do you happen to ... "

I am sorry for not posting these days . I had my semester exams and couldn't write any more chapters.
I will try to update frequently.
