15 Chapter 15 : Garden of Swords

In a carriage 

Magnus and Jin could be seen riding it .

Magnus looked sick and weak as the incident at the teleportation center made him feel bad .

"I puked on My first friend .... I am going to be friendless forever ... Jin what should i do "

Jin was looking calm as he was reading a book .

"Don't really worry about it , it was not like you were going to make a lot of friends even before this ..."

Magnus turned into stone and fell down.

"Don't be mean to master !!!" Nebula

"You Dare Insult my master !! I won't forgive you even if you are his sibling !!!" Nova

Nova and Nebula defended Magnus .

"Thank you guys i knew i could count on you even when my only family gave up on me !!" 

Magnus said staring at Jin , who just shook his head .

"What were you expecting ? We warned you about what happens when you eat before Teleporting , but you went out of your way to eat that much ."

Magnus grunted but couldn't talk back as it was true but he still felt bad about it 

Soon they reached their destination .

The Garden of Swords .

The Place where those who have contributed for the growth of the Runcandel can bury their sword as a symbol of respect and power .

Both of them got down from the carriage with Nova , Nebula and Murkan in there transformations as Gilly and Natasha greeted them .

As they walked a butler greeted them 

"Welcome young masters ,This is my first time greeting you "

The butler bowed down as he introduced himself .

"I'm Second Place Housekeeper Pedro, It must have been a long journey "

"Welcome to the main estate of the Runcandel  . The garden of swords ."  

The butler lead them to the main hall .

As both of them entered the main hall greeted by the patriarch , there mother and there siblings.

Magnus felt a cold chilli down his spine as he felt someone's gaze on him.

'It's the same feeling i had the last time i was here ...'   

But soon the feeling calmed down as another force was colliding with the gaze 

Magnus was confused and turned around to see natasha Looking calm and walking with them , but he could feel that she was the one helping him .

Soon they reached in front of them as their mother greeted them 

"Its been a long time Youngests ."

'Well that was emotional....'

Magnus said with a internal eye roll .

"yes mother" Jin replied with his calm face  

"It's been a long time mother " Magnus said trying to copy her tone 

At that moment There mother , Rosa Saw All their pets 

"oh my , it seems like you are loved by animals "

She Bent down to pet all of them as Nebula landed on her hand.

"You seem to pick up some strays along your journey " 

Chiron Said looking at then with a curious Look .

"I took him in Father , His name is Butterfly Runcandel ."

As Jin said that all the siblings present started to get angry .

"father !! , Mother !! This is unexpectable !! even if he is a child how dare he use the family name so carelessly !!   "

"Is this what you have been teaching him Gilly !!"

"He needs to be punished !!"

Chiron just raised his hand stopping them at their places calming them down .

"They are not wrong Youngest , you should know the weight that name holds so what is your reason for your actions ?"

Jin smiled a little although only Magnus was able to see it .

"It is so that I can take responsibility for him " 

This surprised most of them there .

Magnus looked dumbfounded.

'This is bullshit i say !! What do you mean by taking responsibility !! He is a freaking Dragon !! And what kind of made up name is butterfly !! It's like you came up with that right now !! '  

Magnus held his anger in as Jin continued 

"Although This is just a beast , But this is the first life i took in so i have to take care of it."

Chiron looked at him for a second as he said .

"That is amusing youngest but you must also know what it means ,Don't you ?"  

"Yes father , that mean if anyone insults Butterfly , i will be the one paying them back   "

Chiron smiled at this but only for a second .

"Well i have to say youngest you have a way to make enemies wherever you go , judging  on the stares your siblings are giving you .  "

Jin smiled at this and said .

"It seems to be true father , but i also have way to silence my enemies.  "

Chiron smiled at this as the rest of the siblings just held there anger in .

There was a awkward silence in the air as Rosa said .

"Oh my Youngest , This bird seems to be of a high grade , look at its feather and its grace and this dog it is so obedient , What are there names  " 

'Oh that was actually a great distraction lady , Now i will take this from here. '

"This is Nebula and Nova ,  my pets They are very friendly and cute aren't they  "

Rosa smiled at this and said .

"You didn't give them Your last name i thought that's something you would do "

'Was that a insult ?? It sure felt like one ' Magnus

"Well i wanted to but The name did go well with there names so I didn't give them that  "

As soon as he said that all the siblings started to glare at him and everyone went silent .

'Did i Do something wrong....'

"Say youngest , why don't you come with me "

Chiron said with a neutral tone 

Magnus looked at Jin who was grasping his head in pain because of Magnus 

Natasha still tried to maintain her calm appearance but Magnus could tell something was wrong  .

Gilly looked worried at him .

"Follow me youngest ..."

Chiron left the place as Magnus followed him in a hurry.

In the training hall  

Magnus could be seen in front of Chiron who was holding a wooden sword as he threw a another one to magnus .

Magnus caught it .

".... Am I being punished ??"

Chiron lifted his sword up .

"You know youngest both You and Jin are special . Jin is cunning , sharp minded , and is able to achieve his goals by any means possible , but you have none of them...." 

He swinged his word down as it created a huge pressure pressing down everything in the room .

"You have none of his talents , You are ignorant, crude and foolish in the ways of human deception.  "

Soon the dust settled and everything in the swords path was erased .

"But maybe that's a blessing because you yourself have a greater talent a talent for one thing and one thing only . "

Out of nowhere Magnus Appears behind Chiron with his sword rushing to his neck with his feat in the air . yet the sword didn't lose any of its strength.

 Chiron smiled at this as he reached to catch it with his fingers.

As the sword was in his hands It vanished appearing on top of him.

Chiron looked at  Magnus who was in a trance .

"A talent that can break the boundaries of the world that even i can't reach...  "

Magnus started to appear all around Chiron like multiple clones attacking him at once but Chiron didn't even bat a eye to it as each and every sword started to  get blasted away .

" A Talent for strength ...."

Chiron smiled and looked at Magnus .

"That look of yours is very refreshing "

 Chiron looked at Magnus who looked happy , happy to breath , happy to move , happy to swing a sword , happy to fight .

Chiron Smiled at Magnus for the first time with all his heart as he said .

"Your talent is something that everyone will envy son ... But remember what i am going to teach you Now, as this will forever be your dream.... Or a nightmare "

Chiron raised his sword before Magnus could even see .

Magnus backed away trying to avoid the hit but it was already late .

Before He could move a blinding light Surrounded the whole area .

It took few minutes but the dust  settled down as Magnus was in the middle with a blood line dividing him in half .

Thankfully it was just a scratch.

Chiron Appeared in front of him with his usual look as he said disappointed.

"You are still alive ? " 

 Magnus rolled his eyes as he got up dusting himself .

"ha ha ha Very funny dad.." 

Chiron looked at him for a few seconds as he saw Magnus looking normal .

'Facing death right in front of his eyes and yet there is no fear in his eyes ... maybe his talent is much greater than i Thought , if only he was born in my time i would have gotten a great rival... But I think is not that late yet ....'

Chiron smiled as he said .

"You should Challenge your limits son. For better or for worse you got a Swords edge in your hand , It's something a swordsman develops when He faces countless Life and death situations yet you had it the first time you held your sword ."

Magnus looked confused .

'Well it is technically right , i never really held a sword because of the family rule in storm castle and all my training sessions were in a virtual world in my mind '

"This can be a blessing or a curse based on how you use it . so get stronger ."

As soon as Chiron said that a sound rang in Magnus's head 

[Quest : The Second step to be the strongest

As a member of Runcandel family you have to be strong or the strongest so you have train to gain power.

You who has reached the threshold shall now break your limits .

Condition : Reach 4 stars in Swordsmanship , Magic and Star power , and break your limit at least once 

Reward : ???? ]

Magnus looked his new quest and shook his head .

'Why is that whenever a white haired member of this family talks about getting stronger i get impossible quests '

Magnus sighed

"Tell me Magnus"

Chiron turned around a his back was facing Magnus as he asked .

"Do you want to be the Patriarch in the future  "

'Come again for big fudge????  ' Magnus

How was the chapter ??

Sorry about the fight scene , I am bad with fight scenes so i dont think this was a good chapter .

I will try to improve .
