Pillow Talk

"Oh, you want to hang out with us tonight?" The man tried not to smile as he looked at Aisyah's face and asked Dirga.

"No, it's not like that, I want to say. Can you move the first night back?" When Aisyah heard Dirga's question, she was shocked and moved her body backwards. She was sitting on the edge of the bed, so she almost fell backwards. Luckily, Dirga quickly grabbed Aisyah's arms.

"Astaghfirullah," said Aisyah, and she hugged Dirga out of surprise.

The man could no longer hide his happiness. When his wife hugged him, he felt his heart beat faster. The truth is that Aisyah's head was already on the man's chest.

Dirga teased, "Wow, you're brave to hug me." As soon as Aisyah realized where she was, she took her hand off of Dirga's body.

"Okay, whatever, uncle. I'm just surprised, "Aisyah said that she was sorry. She was already sitting where he used to be.

"So, tonight will really be the first night, right?" Dirga asked him again, this time with his eyebrows going up and down as he looked at Aisyah.

If the room had been brighter, he would have been able to see that Aisyah's face was red from embarrassment.

"Be quiet, no!" Aisyah turned around so that she was facing Dirga.

"I don't know why I'm getting a back. do you really want a hug from the back?" Dirga keeps making fun of Aisyah.

"Oh, well, uncle stinks!" Aisyah was sad, so she turned back to Dirga with a sad look on her face.

"Hahahaha, you ended up like that."

Aisyah looked down because she was afraid to look at her husband's face. In her heart, she praised Dirga's good looks and even started to like the man who had been her husband for only a few hours.

"Here, before we do anything else, I'd like to have a serious talk with you," Dirga said.

He wanted to tell Aisyah a few things. Even though she had just finished school, he felt that Aisyah was already an adult in Religion and State. She was also his young wife, so despite her erratic behavior, Dirga had to run their household. Can walk normally like a couple in most cases.

Aisyah moved her seat so she could be closer to Dirga. The man turned around and then turned the light on high. Aisyah closed her eyes several times to clear her vision.

"As Aisyah expected, I want us to make a deal before our first night together. This isn't like a deal we make before we get married; this is the rule for as long as we are husband and wife. Does Aisyah get it?" asked Dirga, he was afraid that his wife wouldn't understand what he was saying.

Even though Aisyah was young, she nodded because she understood what Dirga said, even though she used words that were hard for her to understand.

"So, Aisyah wrote it down in her mind so she wouldn't forget. I'm married to Aisyah, so please don't call me uncle."

"What do you want to call yourself?" Aisyah stopped Dirga's words to ask.

"Call me Rohi." Aisyah's eyes grew round, and a smile crept slowly across her lips. She then closed her mouth because she was about to burst out laughing.

Dirga's forehead had creases in it. "Why? Strange thing?"

"Rohi sounds like the name of a character from an Indian film. Hahaha." Aisyah laughed out loud, and Dirga shook his head. He didn't think Aisyah's mind was really innocent.

"It doesn't matter what, but I want you to call me Rohi. Please try calling me Rohi." After Aisyah was able to stop laughing, Dirga said this.

Aisyah didn't understand, but she did what Dirga told her to do anyway.

"Rohii."

Dirga smiled when he heard the spoiled voice of Aisyah calling her name.

"Yes, my Albi." Dirga gave Aisyah an answer.

"Oh, my heart, why?" Aisyah asked again. She has been learning Arabic since she was little, so she knows that Albi means "heart."

"Yes, I'll call you Albi, because your name is now written in one of my heart's chambers."

Aisyah's face turned red, and Dirga smiled back. A moment later, though, Aisyah's face turned sour, and she turned away.

Seeing Aisyah's sudden change like that, Dirga asked.

"Why? Don't you like being called Albi?"

"Like it, but..."

"But what?" Dirga asked.

"So, does that mean Uncle wants to get married again?"

It was now Dirga's turn to be shocked by what Aisyah said.

Dirga asked, "How can you think that?"

"Uncle told me earlier that my name is written in one of Om's chambers. As far as I know, Om's heart has two chambers and two porches. In one room, my uncle's first wife's name is written, and in the other, my name is written. So the two porches must belong to uncle's other wives, right?"

"Ha ha ha ha." Dirga laughed out loud and shook his head. He didn't think Aisyah would think that way.

"You're wrong, the names of our children will be written on the two porches later."

Aisyah's face turned red again when Dirga answered.

"So you don't mind if I call you Albi, and you call me Rohi?" asked Dirga to make sure.

Aisyah gave a shy nod, but kept her face down and didn't dare look at Dirga.

Dirga asked Aisyah, "Okay, now I want you to be honest with me. Why do you want to marry me?"

Aisyah raised her chin and looked doubtfully at Dirga.

"I was honest about my status before I got married, and I want Aisyah to be honest, too. Why does Aisyah, who is still young, want to be a second wife?"

Aisyah's hands were clenched together because she didn't know if she should tell the truth or lie. She had never thought she would be in a situation like this; she thought that Dirga getting married only meant that they wanted to follow the Sunnah of polygamy. When Dirga saw that Aisyah was still not sure, he went over and took his wife's hands.

"How can our household be sakinah, mawaddah, and warohmah if Aisyah doesn't want to be honest? If there are still secrets to be found?"

Aisyah looked down further. She was even more confused, and she was afraid that Dirga would be angry with her answer.

"Okay, if Aisyah doesn't want to talk, I'll tell you why I want to remarry: my wife is on the council and is busy taking care of the people. She doesn't have time to take care of the house and husband, and we don't have any children yet. after being married for a few years. So I got married so someone could take care of me and have children."

As soon as Aisyah heard what Dirga had to say about the man who is now her husband, she felt sorry for him.

"I'll tell you the truth, but don't get mad, uncle."

Dirga nodded. "No, I won't get angry."

"Promise?" Aisyah raised her hand and put out her little finger to Dirga. The man smiled and greeted Aisyah's little finger with his own little finger. Now, their two little fingers are stuck together.

"Promise."

"Actually, I let my uncle be my husband because I want to study engineering and become an architect. I like to draw."

Dirga rounded his mouth again. Aisyah's answer was really different from what he expected.

When she saw what Dirga did when Aisyah got scared, her hands shook again.

"Uncle, Uncle, don't divorce me please!"
