Sure enough, when I woke up the next day, Valentin was already gone. I sat on the bed for a while until Mary knocked on the door and asked me to have breakfast. Then I woke up completely.
Just after breakfast, when the egg yolk was still in his mouth, Owen swaggered in with a trophy in his hand.
"Have you won the prize?"
Owen shook his head. "I'm now a judge. This is the trophy I designed for this year's big prize. Bring it over and show it to my brother-in-law."
"You are not allowed to call him brother-in-law in the company."
Owen smiled coldly. "I never told anyone that they didn't even know about our relationship."
"Sister, I have something to tell you."
Looking at Owen's face, I suddenly felt a chill in my heart. "What are you going to tell me?"
"I want to go abroad."
"Why?" I looked at him in confusion. It was so far away from home, and there was no one to take care of him.
