Dinner Time

Ming Yue was sitting next to Grandmother Huang. The three big kids, Grandfather Huang, Father Huang, and Lang Ya, were sulking and sitting across from her. They had fought over who would sit next to Ming Yue, until Grandmother Huang said to determine this with rock, paper, scissors. In the end, she won the first spot, but the other three fought, each bringing out the same thing again and again.

After a while, they turned to Ming Yue and asked her who should sit beside her. She was put under so much pressure. In the end, Grandmother Huang commanded them to sit across from her after seeing the food was becoming colder.

The three were very upset, constantly staring at the empty seat beside Ming Yue. However, that did not stop them from stuffing her bowl with food constantly. The meal was in silence, and Ming Yue's bowl was overfilled with food. Whenever she ate something one of them gave, they would look arrogant and show off to the other two.

"Um, bro…" Ming Yue started out.

"Bubby. Call me Bubby." Lang Ya interrupted her speech.

"And call me Dada like you used to do or Papi is fine, too." Father Huang added on.

"Call me Grandpapi then." Grandfather Huang didn't want to lose.

"SHUT UP! Let Yue' er talk." Grandmother HUang just couldn't handle the three grown up men acting like a kid.

Immediately, all of them shut up and flinched in fear.

Ming Yue: So Grandmother Huang is the strongest in the family. Then I'll ask her.

"Grandmother?" She directed their attention on her again. She put down her chopsticks since she was full.

"Yes, sweetie." Grandmother Huang was happy her granddaughter called her.

"There is a celebration party tomorrow for the 32nd birthday of Fang Wang Yi. Can we go together?" Ming Yue looked at Grandmother Huang and put on her puppy eyes to attack.

"En, alright." Grandmother Huang just can't say no to her only grandchild. "Do you have a dress to wear?"

"En! But can you prepare Xiao Hei some clothes?" Ming Yue had the dress she just conned today, but Xiao Hei had none. Although Xiao Hei himself was expensive, that was not enough to show off to others. "And can you make them galaxy themed to match my dress?"

"Alright! Leave Xiao Hei with me and Grandmother will find you the best clothes there are fo him." Grandmother Huang agreed without hesitating. Grandmother Huang's doting did not lose to the three men.

Xiao Hei, who was eating premium grade cat food, was shocked. His host was giving him away again.

Xiao Hei: Cry! Host is so heartless!

Ming Yue was so excited! She can show off her wealth! She jumped out of her seat and hurried to Grandmother Huang's side. She kissed her on the cheeks.

"Thank you, Grandmother, Grandfather, Papi, and Bubby! I am heading to my condo to get my dress." Ming Yue ran off towards the door. She paused a few steps away from the door, and turned around. "I'm leaving Xiao Hei here!"

"Okay. Leave this to Grandmother Huang." Grandmother Huang chuckled at her granddaughter's eagerness. It… was just like her daughter-in-law…

Xiao Hei, who saw his host leaving, wanted to cry. He abandoned his food and ran off to follow his host. But before he could succeed, Grandfather Huang grabbed him.

"Be a good boy, Xiao Hei. I need to help Yue' er and then she'll give me a chu (kiss), too." Grandfather Huang was jealous of Grandmother Huang.

He wasn't the only one who was jealous though. There was two other vinegar jars at the table, preparing to cry. They began to think of plans that could make their Yue' er happy, so they can get a chu (kiss) from her.

On the other side, when Grandmother Huang thought closely about what had happened, her heart had melted into a puddle. This is the first time in 26 years (from when Ming Yue was born) that she took initiative to kiss her. Yue' er had always thought she was too strict, and the cause of her (MY) runaway and rebellious state was all caused by her strictness (GMH) and rules.

"Yue' er…" Wang Yi was staring at the picture he printed of his little kitten. He was daydreaming of the day when Ming Yue would become his wife.

The employees who were coming into the CEO's office were scared and dumbfounded and the same time, so they ran off.
