Chapter 98 Not hungry

Later that evening Miss Mona's heart fills with compassion as she stands by Fabian's door with a tray of food in her hands looking at the young lady curled in a ball on the bed crying. It was now sis thirty pm and this young lady has yet to eat a decent plate of food since she arrived here.

Miss Mona was very worried about her. She was pregnant and both she and her baby needs a proper meal but no one could seem to get her to eat and the fact that she hasn't heard from Fabian since she arrived here wasn't helping.

She silently enters the room and places the tray on the bed beside her. "Amara honey, you've to eat something." She said rubbing the girl's shaking shoulders. "I'm not hungry." She mumbles into the pillow.

"I know you don't feel hungry but for your baby's sake, you need to eat something." "I don't need food, I need Fabian." She sobs. "I know you do honey but you also need to take care of yourself and your child."

"Why won't he call? Does he even know I'm here? Does he care that I'm here and practically homeless? Does he have any idea what I've been through? Why won't he call?" She cries.

She was about to pull the pillow over her head again when her phone rang which made her jump. "Don't answer that, I think it's my parents again." She sobs. "I don't think it is, this is an overseas number." Miss Mona said and Amara almost fell off the bed as she lungs for the phone. "He…..Hello." She said biting her lips nervously.

"Hey angel, what's up, my dad said you're trying to reach me. Are you alright?" He asks in concern. "I need you, Baby." She cries. "Hey come on now, I know you miss me but remember I told you a few days ago that I was going to be at my grandpa's boot camp where there's no cell reception. I'm sorry angel I didn't mean to make you cry." He said softly.

"I'm at your house baby." She blurts out. "Wait, my house? How did you manage that?" He asks shocked. "I'm no longer living with my parents." She said wiping her eyes.

"Whoa, wait, what? What is going on angel? What did they do to you?" He asks and she could hear he was getting angry. As she began telling him everything that happens she watch Miss Mona slips quietly from the room.

Fifteen minutes later she heard Fabian growls and something shattering on the other end of the line. "Are they freaking serious!? They wanted you to kill our child! What kind of monsters are these people!? He growls angrily.

"I can't believe they would go that far! I can't freaking believe these bastards, better yet I can't believe I'm going to be a dad. Hell, I'm going to be a dad!" He shouts joy replacing his anger.

"Okay, so you're at my house? Okay, I know my family will protect you and I'll get a few of my cousins to be your personal bodyguards as well whenever you leave the house. I'm going to pack right now, I'll be home as soon as I can okay angel, I love you." He said softly.

"I love you too baby." "So considering all that you've been through, are you and the baby alright? Any discomfort?" He asks. "No, just not much of an appetite." "I can understand that but hey, try a few of my mom's blueberry muffins, I guarantee those will kick start your appetite." He chuckles.

"Try and eat something for me and our baby okay angel." "Okay, I'll try." "That's my girl, I love you, angel, I'll see you soon." "Okay baby hurry up."

He must have put the phone down and forgotten to end the call because she could hear him shouting in the background. "Hey grandma, grandpa, you're going to be great grandparents again." He shouts with joy.

'Pack the things you want me to take home with me! I need to get home now!" She heard him shout again before she ends the call and with a smile on her face reach for the tray of food and of course just as the love of her life suggests she starts with the blueberry muffin that was at the corner of her plate.
