I ask for your powers stones and again give you a question. If you could be reborn as any sidekick (Robin, Ron Weasley, Killua, Krillin, etc.) who would it be? You also get one wish. Choose wisely. Enjoy the chapter!)

Two months have passed, and Syrin has gone back to his normal schedule. Due to being away from his father, Syrin's been visiting the palace via Nova to meet his father for training. Other than that, Spy Guy is a part of his aerie guards, so he didn't have to leave the Duchy to do his fighter training. His mother insists on continuing his adventurer training, so he's been visiting her every morning. Speaking of Syrins' mother, Astrid is still hunting the herd of core beasts. No matter how strong her group of adventurers are, a giant herd of core beasts is a tough challenge. Syrin is just glad that he has Souei's clones protecting his mother. Although, her hidden bodyguard hasn't had a need to act, so things aren't too bad.

On the academic side of things, Syrins' teachers have followed him to Sena. Everything is as it was back at the palace. Over these past months, Syrin has saved up almost a thousand shop points. Due to Syrins' training, some of his skills have leveled up.

{Phoenix Fire Attribute LVL3-LVL4

Magic Sense LVL4-LVL6 (ten feet radius)

Body Double LVL1-LVL3 (four clones)}

With an extra level in Phoenix Fire, the control and output of Syrins' magic has increased. The two levels he gained in Magic Sense and Body Double was merely an incremental increase in both the distance he can sense, and how many clones he can summon.

The knight order has finished power leveling in the dungeon and is ready to be sent off. The weakest one out of all of them is rank 50, so they are on their way to being the strongest knight order around. Syrin is sending them to clear out the rest of the syndicate from the Duchy. They may have lost their leader, but there's always someone new. The three potential elders of my knight order are going with them to speed things along. Syrin would rather have them continue power leveling, but things will move faster with them joining. They've barely ranked up at all in these past months, as every rank above 80 seems to need a lot of XP. It's a miracle Syrins' mother became a mage legend at such a young age.

Souei has been going to the new dungeon and has reached the 80th floor. He's now rank 64 as both a fighter and mage.

Rem still hasn't increased her rank, but she has been training the maids. They are already working in the manor, and only make mistakes here and there. Over time I'm sure those small mistakes will disappear.

Nova has been exploring the Duchy and marking it as her territory. Every avian in the Duchy has been paying tribute to her. Random birds come to the manor with all sorts of bird-like gifts for her. Mainly food. At first, Syrin and everyone at the manor were shocked, but now it's a regular occurrence.

Lily and Leo have already left to return to the Bestia Kingdom, and all freed slaves have arrived at there homes. Before Leo left, Syrin tried to recruit him, but he didn't want to separate from Lily.

Anna has been shadowing Syrin as a big-mouthed bodyguard. She seems to be allergic to any type of etiquette, but at least she's entertaining.

Dalir has been working in a forge that Syrin has built on the property of the manor. He's been given anything he'll ever need to improve his trade. It's a good thing Syrin has so much gold, as the resources Dalir needs would burn a hole in his pocket.

Syrins' main project throughout these months has been finding ways to improve the Duchy. Of course, he'll start with the city and move outwards, so what does the city need? First and foremost the roads need an upgrade. Looking through his memories Syrin couldn't find anything that would help with this. 'If I can't do this the modern way, then I'll do it the magic way.' Syrin thought. So he gathered every mage with the earth attribute and explained what he wanted.

Apparently, no one has ever thought of using magic to improve the world around them. They've only used it to fight and protect themselves. Syrin explained to them the properties of concrete, and the application it could have for roads. He then ordered them to experiment with their magic, and see what they can come up with.

While the earth mages worked on that, Syrin moved on to the next improvement he could make. When he was looking into the farming of this world, he found that they use the three-field system of crop rotation, with spring as well as autumn sowings. Wheat or rye was planted in one field, and oats, barley, peas, lentils, or broad beans were planted in the second field. The third field was left empty. Each year the crops were rotated to leave one field empty. This system ensures that the same crop was not grown in the same field two years running.

The plow has already been invented, and animals are used to pull them. Mainly oxen and horses depending on the farm. Farmers do what they can to increase the fertility of the land. They are aware that the soil only gives back as much as they put into it. Marl, a mixture of clay, carbonate of lime, and seaweed is used as fertilizer. Farmers know that the best fertilizer is animal poop. However, small farmers can't afford the cost of feeding a large number of animals, and so manure is often in short supply.

This is all seems good as they're doing things right, but Syrin knew that modern farmers selectively breed their crops. The farmers would simply have to find the best crops that give the best harvest, and use the seeds they bare to sow the next harvest. They would constantly repeat this, and slowly over time crop yield should have an exponential increase every following harvest. Which would be more crops that Syrin collects in tax, as every farmer has to give half of their harvest to their lord as tax. The question is how to convince farmers to do it?

Not knowing what to do, Syrin visited his father for advice. A quick teleport via Nova and he returned to the palace.

"Dad." Syrin enters the king's study.

"Oh, your back!" The king exclaims from behind his desk filled with papers.

"Yeah." Syrin paces in circles.

"What's on your mind, son?" The king asks.

"I believe that I've found a way to increase the yield of crops every harvest, but I'm not sure how to implement it." Syrin answers.

"Well, explain it to me first." The king says and Syrin explains everything. "Well, if you're so confident about this, then you should make a decree that every farmer has to follow these procedures."

"Will they like that though? I'd rather not cause an uprising because of this." Syrin comments.

"I doubt they'll take up arms over this, but they may be annoyed at first. Maybe lower the tax on crops to appease them, but if you're correct with this selective breeding then they'll be praising you in no time." He explains.

"Alright, I'll try it that way and see what happens,"
