When I returned to my room that evening, I immediately started absorbing everything in my inventory. I have three different types of monsters inside my inventory. The rat type, ant type, and the black panther from yesterday. The rat is the one that I ran into first in the dungeon, so let's start with those. Going into my inventory, I select all of the rat parts and bring them out. They appear in the corner of my room in a pretty good-sized pile. Nothing was leaking onto the floor as the system wraps up each piece. There were even jugs filled with blood there as well.

"I'm so excited! I wonder what I'll get?" I exclaim as I imagine cool skills.

Activating my devour skill and my body turns slimy and lunges at the pile I'm in front of me. Every carefully wrapped piece and drop of blood is absorbed into my body with ease. The containers and wrappings that they were in disappear into my body as well. After a short few seconds of waiting, the notifications came rolling in.

Sweet, I'll never get sick again! I don't see the greatness of rats bite as I would have to actually bite stuff. I would rather not bite my enemy's and get their blood and Chunks in my mouth. It would definitely help when I'm in a pinch, but I'm going to put it aside for emergencies only. Alright, time to eat some ants. Give me something good!

What the hell!? Does the system want me to start biting all of my enemies from now on? Why do I keep getting these biting skills? *sigh* Whatever, once again, I'll save it for emergencies only. Now, this Ants Super Strength skill is so overpowered. I may need to get some sort of control skill to go along with it, so I don't accidentally break things when my strength gets crazy high. Hmm, I'll search the system shop later and find something.

Now, it's time for the black panthers. They may have been small, but they are extremely fast. I'm hoping that I'll get some sort of speed skill from them. The mixture of Ants Super Strength and a speed skill from the panther parts would be perfect. Alright, time to devour the last of these parts and get to bed.

Oh my god! I just got Wolverine claws! Wait, let's see if they look like his. I will my new claws to exit my knuckles and bony looking claws push their way out. There's a pain that surges through my body as the claws extend, but it goes away a few seconds after they're fully extended. I'm Wolverine baby! Hehehehe...Hahahaha. This is so cool. Now, all I need is his regenerative powers and I'll be just like him. Taking control of my emotions, I look at the other skill I got and my happiness just keeps increasing. I now have strength and speed skills. I'll be unstoppable in close quarters when the time comes.

I'm also happy that the devour skill allows me to mimic the appearance of whatever I absorb. I was going to buy the animagus skill from the shop, but with this, I can be an animal or core beast I want. I just have to defeat it and absorb it and I could be a dragon if I wanted to. Hehe, I'll definitely be a dragon sooner or later.

Retracting my claws and receiving a softer pain than before, I walk out of my room to take a bath before bed. As I open the door, I see someone sleeping on the floor outside my door. With a closer inspection, I see that it's Aella curled up on the hard marble floor. She must have fallen asleep out here while waiting for me to answer the door. Her usual perfect face is marred with runny makeup. She must have been crying. *sigh* This woman will be the death of me. I pick her up and place her in my bed. As I'm doing this Rem walks in dressed for bed.

"From what the maids tell me, she came here after you left her in the throne room. She's been outside your door waiting for you to return and cried herself to sleep." Rem says.

"I see." I say and look over Aellas runny makeup once again. "Clean her up and get her ready for bed, but don't wake her up. Once you're finished, tuck her into my bed."

"She will be sleeping with us tonight?" Rem asks.

"Yeah, I'm going to bathe before bed. Get her ready before I return please." I say and leave the room.

Tomorrow morning is going to be interesting.
