Meeting the Parents

Me: Wow thanks for laughing at me when yes you know I'm stressing out a bit...

J: Haha you silly. You always make me laugh. This is why I love you! But hey don't worry... Meeting my parents won't be that bad... besides they'll love you, so you got nothing to worry about...

I faked a smile... but inside I was having a whole body sweat......What am I going to do I thought...

J: Well, babe, Are you ready?? Let's go?

Me:... Now?

Jackson laughed and pulled me up from sitting and we walked to the car. The whole way there, he was calming me down.

We got into his car and drove to his house.

**A reminder : His house is literally like 2-3 blocks away from my house**

We pulled up to the curb and Jackson looked over at me and smiled. Still nervous I smiled back. Jackson pulled me in for a kiss.

J: Don't worry. No matter what I love you and that's all that matters.

I calmed down a bit.

Jackson held my hands and we walked towards his house. He opened the door and we enter through the kitchen door in the back.

Jackson called out to his parents.

J: Mom? Dad? Grandma??

**A moment of silent**

J: Mom? Dad? Grandma??

Footsteps approach and the first person we saw was his little grandma.

She looked up, saw us and smiled. She reached up to pinch Jackson's cheeks saying, "Where have you been? Do you know it's dark out? Your parents will be very upset if you got home when it's late." She finally glanced over at me and she smiled. I smiled back and grandma said, "Oh" she said, "it's my daughter in law!" The moment she said that, I blushed. Lol I didn't know what to say... grandma was so cute... Should I have corrected her?? The moment she said that, Jackson's parents walked into the kitchen to see Jackson and I holding hands and grandma smiling at me.

Jackson's mom: "Jack you're home! Good! Your dad and I was wondering when you'd be home.. we were waiting..." She smiled at me. "Is this her??" Her smiled grew bigger.

Jackson nodded and started with the introduction.

J: Mom, Dad, Grandma, this is my girlfriend... Oriana. We've been together for about 7 months, almost 8. I thought since you all been wanting to meet her... especially today since that's what you all said before I left this evening... well here she is.

I smiled and finally said, "Hi."

Jackson's dad smiled as well and he lead us all to the livingroom.

My heart pounded..... **This is where all the question happens I guess...What Am I going to say so that I don't look like an idiot?.....**

Jackson's mom started talking first. She asked the general, Age, family, siblings, education, work..... relatives... etc. But It shortly came to an end. It felt like forever, but it was very calming and casual. Literally probably only 10-15 minutes, but it felt like hours and hours.

After the basic introduction, Jackson's family smiled at me and they welcomed me to visit as much as I can. They'd love to get to know me more.

Shyly, I smiled back.

Jackson then finally spoke.

J: Well mom, dad, grandma, I'm going to spend some time with Ori now that we've done with the introductions. We'll be in my room watching a movie.

They smiled and sent us off.

Be sure to send her home safe and not so late, Jackson's mom said.

He nodded and we left for his room.

Me: your parents seems nice.. I was worried they'd ask more questions.

Jackson smiled. You dork. They love you already. I love you so nothing else matters.

We reached Jackson's room and he leaned towards me for a kiss.
