Graduation Part 2

Seeing Jackson, I could almost burst into tears! I was in complete shock and I was so happy that he actually made it! How? What? Is this real? All the questions came rushing into my head. I was not sure. I'm not dreaming am I? Thoughts continued to run through my head, but all in all I was just happy. So happy that he made it!

The ceremony went by and soon enough after roughly about an hour, our principle started calling our names one by one to receive our diploma.

Finally, it was my turn.

Principle: Oriana Ling!

I walked across the stage, smiled and received my diploma as I shook our principal's hand. While this occurred, my family along with Jackson were screaming and cheering my name. "THAT'S MY GIRL" yelled Jackson! I felt embarrassed, but happy as well! I was truly thankful.

The ceremony came to an close.

Principle: Lastly, I just want to congratulate this class. No matter where life takes you from this moment on, I want to wish you all the best. Never forget who you are and where you've been. Graduating class, please move your tassel from the right to the left. Ladies and gentlemen, families, parents, grandparents, friends, children, and everyone, I present to you, our graduating class. Congratulation ! You did it!!

Everyone cheered and students tossed their hats into the air. The graduating song played once again and students row by row walked out from the main floor.

Once I was out of the main floor, I went to find my family. However, while walking to find my family, someone came up behind me and hugged me. I turned around and Jackson smiled.

J: Congrats baby on your accomplishment. Handing me a bouquet of flowers.

I blushed.

Me: OMG! How did you make it??

J: It's a secret. Just know I'm your babe so I can do anything for you.

Me: No really, I thought you worked?

J: I did, but no worries, shh shh, I'm here. Aren't you happy?

Me: Of course! I am so surprised!

J: I knew you would be, and honestly I wanted you to remember this moment.

Me: I will always always, remember this babe.. but enough with the talking, lets go find my family.

J: I talked with your family during the ceremony and they said I can take you back. They will be at home waiting for us.

Me: Oh, okay then. Let's go. Are you ready.

J: Yeah, just about, but one thing first.

Me: Yea? What is it?

J: I want you to remember this moment?

Me: Yeah, I know. Didn't I say I always will dork. Haha, I just said that. Did you forget already?

J: No, I just need to do one thing.

Me: And that is?

Jackson smiled again and pulled me in for another hug. Congrats again baby. After holding me for a moment, he pulled away and cupped my face in his hands and kissed me on the lips.

The world seemed to stop and stare. I closed my eyes and all I can hear was my heart pounding loudly.
