1 Year Anniversary Part 1

**I will be writing as Oriana

Many days.. or so it seems since the last time Jackson and I had a library date.. But even so, I can never forget the library date we had where we shared that passionate kiss... I'm that girl that would literally think about these types of things.. over and over again.. Especially when I'm studying or something and then boom I have a flashback and I get all embarrass..

However, time slips by like always and before knowing it, Jackson and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary.

Knowing this, I can't help but smile. It's really unbelievable that it's already been a year since we've been dating... It's crazy to think of it. Has it really been a year? I still remember him being "drunk" and me going out to see him, only to have him surprise me and ask me out. My heart still pounds thinking about it now.

Having these thoughts, while in class.. rather then focusing on lecture.. My phone light up.

It was Jackson.

J: Hello Sweetie. I kept sneezing soo I thought maybe you were thinking of me :) I just want to say I miss you and cannot wait to see you later. Happy Anniversary. I'm so happy to be your boyfriend and to have you as my girlfriend. Someone so cute, loving, unique, strong and all the above. How did I ever get so lucky? Muah! I'll talk to you soon!

The moment he said, I kept sneezing - I blushed... lol yes I was definitely thinking about him... Ugh, I'm so excited and cannot wait to see him. This class needs to hurry up!

Finally, 45 minutes later class ended.

I walked out of class and finally replied to the text.

Me: Hey baby! Sorry for the late text! Happy Anniversary! I....

Before I can finish my text message, Jackson sent another one.

Jackson: Baby! Turn around!

I turned around and Jackson was there. He reached out for my waist and pulled me in for a hug...There's always something about a hug from him that melts my heart and just makes everything feel ok.

J: Hi baby! How was class?

Me: It was good! Sorry I didn't text. I was just about to. Did you wait long?

J: No, I just got here right on time. No worries! But anyways, are you ready for our date?

Me: Of Course I'm ready. But, where are we going??

J: Its a surprise! Come, I'll show you!

Jackson grabbed my hands and we walked over to his car. As I opened the door to their car, inside there were a dozen of roses. I turned around and Jackson said, "Surprise!!" I was definitely shocked. I wonder if he knew roses were my favorites....Did I ever tell him? Or was it a lucky guess?

Jackson: Do you like them baby??

Me: Of course I do sweetie... I actually got you something too.

Jackson smiled, "Aww, did you really?"

Me: Of course. I reached to the back of my backpack and unzipped it. I searched around a bit but found the gift that I wrapped up. I handed it over to Jackson. "Happy Anniversary baby."

Jackson smiled and took the gift.

J: Can I open this in the car.. or maybe later.. We actually have a reservation downtown.

Me: Reservation?? Where?

J: Get in and I'll show you.. but first..

Jackson leaned in for a kiss. I bite his lips.

J: Oww...

I stuck out my tongue.

J: You're getting good now aren't you? But no worries.. I'll get my payback later.. :P

We got in the car and Jackson and I drove downtown to the restaurant. We had reservation for Fountain Spring Restaurant, one of the best restaurant in town.

Me: You seriously got a reservation here? Don't you have to book months in advance?

J: Yes, but I know you're worth it, so I did a few months ago.

Me: Aww, you shouldn't have.. Thank you!

J: Don't thank me, its for us! Come on. I'm starving! Let's go.

Jackson and I entered the restaurant and was seated on the balcony where we had a view of the river.

Me: Wow, this is amazing and just breathtaking.

J: Yes it is, but nothing can be as amazing or breathtaking as the view right in front of me. Did you know you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen..

I blushed.. You're such a liar, I said.

Jackson ordered a steak with side of potatoes, and broccoli and I ordered a grilled chicken breast with a side of corn, and fries - because fries are always good.

We started our first few bites. How's your chicken? Asked Jackson. "Good," I said. "Did you want a bite?" I poked a piece of chicken on my fork and handed it over to Jackson. Jackson smiled and took a bite. "Wow, that's good and perfect too. Juicy and flavorful." "Try mine." Jackson then fed me a bite of his steak. I wasn't much of a steak person, but it was definitely good. This place really live up to its standards.

Jackson and I had our dinner and talked about our day and school. Jackson is just about to graduate. It's coming so fast that it's hard to believe.. He only have a semester left then He'd be done with his Business management degree with a minor in photography, hoping to own a photography business one day. I think it's so fascinating how his eyes light up when he talks about his passion and his dreams. He's so amazing.. but I think I'm too embarrassed to ever tell him that... maybe one day.

Once we wrapped up our lunch, Jackson reached over to my hand.

J: Are you full?

Me: Definitely! I feel like I can't eat another bite. How about you?

J: Me too, but I mean, if you're dessert, I'd totally be ready for some dessert.

I blushed and rolled my eyes. Jackson laughed.

J: Okay, up next. Let's go for a little walk by the river.. then for the final surprise.

Me: Sounds good. *In my thought.. what is this surprise...*

Jackson and I walked around a bit hands locked with each other. Time always slips away when I'm with him... I love how I can talk to him just about anything. He'd listen and laugh and I'll laugh along with him. Before we knew it, the sun was setting. Jackson pulled me in for a hug, my back towards his chest as we enjoyed the view.

Me: gosh, I can't believe how quickly time goes when I'm with you. The sun has set already.

J: I know baby, I feel that too.. but this isn't the end yet.. 1 more thing today.. but first

Jackson leaned over and kissed me on the lips passionately. Being drawn into the kiss, I didn't notice, but Jackson softly bite my lip this time.

I stopped and rolled my eyes followed by a smile.

Me: You think you're slick huh?

J: Babe, I KNOW I'm slick. Told you I'd get you back. But let's go.

We both got into the car and started driving...
