Chapter Twenty Three

"Hello, nice to see you again Lu," Yang Lifei replied to assistant Lu who quickly raised his head in surprise when Yang Lifei called his name but lowered it again seeing his boss looking at him. Assistant Lu could only nod his head in response.

Jin Chen wasn't jealous of what Yang Lifei said because he was very much aware of what she meant. She meant the previous life they had lived so he could only rub Yang Lifei's back to soothe her emotions.

"Have these delivered to my office and go get your bonus for the week," Jin Chen said as he handed a piece of paper to Assistant Lu, it contained the dishes he knew Yang Lifei liked. He had written it earlier when Lu just got into his office.

Assistant Lu moved to his boss like a robot when he heard the word bonus. He only received monthly and yearly bonus but he had never received a weekly bonus. His boss really adored his wife. Her coming there put him in a good mood that he even received a weekly bonus.
