25 Uncomfortable

"I can't believe this." Olivia muttered under her breath.

When she got outside the company, she was hoping a chauffeur would be waiting for her, with the door of a luxurious car widely opened, but that didn't happen.

Before she could wonder what was going on, the memories of how Emma took the public bus, when going home started flooding in.

There was a car, but it belonged to Charlotte.

Since she was not around, Olivia had no choice than to take the public bus.

She couldn't take it at first and called Charlotte.

Charlotte lectured her on how she should do well with the movie and getting a car wouldn't be an issue. She asked when she started caring so much about taking her car.

That's when Olivia saw the memories of how Emma felt uncomfortable that she was sitting at the back of Charlotte's car and letting her do the driving.

Olivia found Emma to be very annoying. Why would someone complain, when she got the chance to enjoy such privilege?

Apparently, Emma wasn't a popular artist yet. This is the stage where people see her casually and after a few months, they will be like, 'Oh! I remember her. We boarded the same bus a few months ago.'

Charlotte has warned her that whatever she does in public will come back at her later, so she should be careful.

Emma doesn't have to act, because she was a calm person, but it's difficult for Olivia.

She was feeling uncomfortable and lost. The image of the house that surfaced was scary.

It was a simple house that couldn't even rival with Olivia's bedroom at her parents' mansion.

Surprisingly, they managed to demarcate it so well, because Emma has a personal room that wasn't even as big as Olivia's bathroom.

The thought of sleeping in such a room made her skin crawl. It doesn't matter if this is Emma's body, because it's the same as her own.

Everything felt like punishment. She's uncomfortable. She was surrounded by so many people.

A middle aged woman was carrying a small girl on her lap, who was sucking on a lollipop.

Her whole mouth was stained, which could be considered cute by a normal person, but Olivia found it irritating.

An old man was sitting by her right side, with his eyes closed and snoring.

Olivia nearly shrinked in her seat. She felt like she was going crazy.

Darling just remained quiet, like she doesn't exist.

There wasn't any hint of arrogance on Olivia's expression. What she's feeling came naturally. She wasn't used to all these.

She was brought up like a goddess. She pointed at cars that she wished to take out and have guards to shield people away from her.

This feeling was foreign. She wanted to go home. She wanted her world back.

Before she knew it, her hands were already shaking.

It was the little girl that first noticed her discomfort. The woman was typing on her phone.

"Take." The girl stretched out her lollipop towards her.

Olivia blinked after hearing her soft voice and seeing the outstretched lollipop.

Her heart raced widely, due to how she was feeling uncomfortable.

Her head snapped towards the girl's direction and their eyes locked. She was smiling at her, with her innocent eyes showcasing purity.

Olivia wanted to frown, but the girl waved the lollipop and repeated the same statement. "Take."

"What should I do?" Olivia asked Darling, not knowing how to react.

She wasn't feeling her usual self right now.

"I'm sorry miss, she's always so cheerful." The woman noticed the situation and came to her aid.

Olivia pressed her lips together and didn't say anything.

The woman directed the lollipop to the girl's mouth. The girl didn't press much on the matter and just keep on licking it, while constantly staring at Olivia, who was like a statue, throughout the journey.

Immediately the bus stopped at her destination, she sprung up on her feet and began walking out, as if she was being chased, but didn't want to run, not to alert her chaser that hadn't spotted her figure yet.

Her hands clutched the hem of her blouse, till she got down.

"Oh god!" She exclaimed and let out a deep breath that she had held, during her walking outside of the bus.

When she looked up, the little girl, who was sitting by the window, waved her hands at her, exposing her tiny teeth.

Olivia just stared blankly at her, but couldn't bring herself to feel irritated or complain about anything.

Her head snapped towards the long bench at the bus stop and was about to walk towards it and  sit down to calm herself, but two highschool girls also walked towards it and sat down.

She accessed their outfit with her eyes and felt that they look bearable to sit with, but before taking a few steps forward, another woman, that was holding a baby join the girls.

Olivia turned around and started walking towards the direction of Emma's house.

The house was built a few kilometers away from other houses, leaving them without neighbors.

Olivia looked left and right, while walking, her expression marred with confusion and weariness.

"You can talk to me to feel at ease." Darling said, feeling pity for her.

It was as if she made Olivia realize that she was showing weakness to someone.

"Shut up! You asked me to play dummy, now you got it." She replied.

If the bunny were to be a human and was standing in front of Olivia, she would be shaking her head right now.

She could feel Olivia's dilemma, like it's her own.

Immediately Olivia arrived outside the brown painted wooden door to Emma's house, she had already regained her composure.

She looked around and knocked on the door. Immediately the door opened, a black cat jumped into her embrace in a flash, making Olivia gasp.
