58 Miscalculation

Two of the assassins suddenly ducked their head to the left and two electrifying whips that came at them from the bush were evaded.

But Heidi never missed her targets easily, especially when they didn't see it coming.

It happened in a flash, as the evaded whips made a curve and hit the two of them, before they could recover from the shock of the attack.

Their body sprung back and their butt crashed onto the floor, while the others began moving their body as fast as they could because the fizzling whip didn't return to where it comes from and began to attack them, as if someone was controlling it.

Heidi had a smirk on, as her hands danced around after pressing her thumb on the control of the whip.

She was having fun, because those guys were like idiots to her. She knew they felt relaxed, due to the odds and the fact that they believe their plan isn't flawed.

She found them to be idiots, because they claim to be assassins and came out in the open like this.

Even if she didn't step out of her car, she could still do something to them from inside it.

She didn't find them as her match, yet didn't prove headstrong and totally underestimated her enemies.

While they battled with whips, one of them tried to head for the car. Even if they would die, they want to make sure that the Smith girl died as well.

Heidi was just catching her fun and stopping the guy from going close to the car. They make it easy by staying in the open.

One touch of the whip would give a paralysis effect. Even if they held a gun, they won't be able to fire a shot till the effect wears off.

The two guys that were hit, still remained vulnerable on the floor.

"Step out from the car." Heidi said to Emma, who was still crying nonstop.

Emma shakily tried getting up and felt her legs failing her. She supported her weight on the chair and peeked outside, only to see two guys sitting on the floor and the other five skillfully dodging the attack of a sizzling electric whips that seemed to be toying with them.

She had no idea where it popped from, but she understood the strategy that Heidi was using immediately. It appeared like she was having fun, but she was tiring them out.

No matter how good she was, those guys might hurt her pretty badly, since she was outnumbered, but with the way things are turning, Heidi won't get hurt.

Seeing the assassins being distracted, Emma felt her energy surge forth.

Here is her chance to escape death.

Yes!

There's only one way to do that.

Run! Escape!

Emma took a deep breath.

Heidi said she could come out of the car and she probably wouldn't say that if it isn't safe.

With a determined heart, she opened the door slowly, trying not to alert them.

She might not know where they were driving to, but she knows where she came from.

Her hands trembled, while breathing got heavier.

Letting out a shaky breath, she opened the door wider to fit her body and put out one leg.

Meanwhile. Immediately the door opened, the guys noticed it, despite fighting against Heidi's whips.

They couldn't even fire a shot, because Heidi didn't leave such a chance. While one of them made a summersault and evaded the attack, the whips coiled and attacked another one at the same time, not leaving them with a breathing space.

Heidi knew that they were good, because it doesn't take this long to capture people, but still wanted one of them alive.

Trying to shoot them will lead to distraction from the whip control and she doesn't get distracted at times like this.

Immediately Emma left the car and ran, one of the guys pointed his gun at her, while Heidi's whip aimed at him.

She believed that he would evade it and save his own life but that didn't happen.

BANG!

The sound of a shot being fired resounded and Heidi's whip collided with the guy's neck, slicing into his skin and coupled with the electric effect, he dropped to the floor instantly, with blood gushing out from his wound.

Emma stayed rooted at the spot, with blood streaming down from her left ear. Her eyes widened in horror and mouth agape.

Few more shots followed, which came from Heidi who stepped outside from the bush like a crazed beast.

Her movement swift and flawless, as she closed in on the two remaining standing guys after knocking off their guns with her whip.

She shot at them, but they ducked and since Heidi had closed the distance between them, she attacked them and they returned the favor.

Their fist collided, while Heidi's guns had it's edge being accompanied with her every hit and would have made them scream from the impact, if they weren't so used to pain.

They fought her with all their might, since their target was still staying rooted on the same spot.

The girl that has killed many of them, or if they should put it right, it is the girl that has cost them the lives of their colleagues.

It didn't take Heidi too long to break through their defense and leaped into the air, sending a heavy kick at them and having them staggered backwards.

She followed with two shots from her pistols, which went through their skull and putting an end to their lives.

Heidi had fear written all over her face, because she miscalculated. She didn't expected Emma to run.

Opening the door would give the distraction she needed, and her second miscalculation was how she believed that the guy would choose to save his own life, but he chose to die and let Emma follow along.

She shot the two paralyzed guys and felt her heart racing wildly, as she turned around to look at Emma who hadn't moved from the same spot.
