1 STORY ONE

EXT. ABANDONED STREET - DAY

We see an empty street with boarded-up houses and broken windows. A homeless man, JIM, is sitting on the curb with his head in his hands. He's lost everything and feels like his life is over.

JIM: (Sighing) What's the point? I've screwed up my life so badly. I don't deserve a second chance.

Suddenly, a car screeches to a halt in front of Jim. A man, DAVID, gets out of the car and walks over to Jim.

DAVID: (Handing Jim a card) Here, take this. It's a job application for a construction company. They're hiring and looking for people with your skills.

JIM: (Surprised) Why are you helping me?

DAVID: (Smiling) Because I believe in second chances. Life is all about making mistakes and learning from them. You can start over and make something of yourself. It's never too late.

Jim takes the card and looks at it with a newfound sense of hope. He realizes that life is indeed all about second chances, and it's up to him to take advantage of them.

CUT TO:

INT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - DAY

We see Jim working hard alongside other construction workers. He's learned new skills and is proud of the work he's doing.

JIM: (Smiling) I never thought I'd be doing something like this, but I'm grateful for the opportunity. Life is all about second chances, and I'm making the most of mine.
