Chapter 130 Guns Part 2

After a week getting the guns, I decided to train the girls and Eri on how to use a gun properly. So I made them lined up at the backyard while carrying their guns, as the military base was packed by the recruits. I was wearing dark cargo pants, and light grey T-shirt. The girls were wearing an outdoor clothes and Eri as well.

She was wearing still wearing her red long-sleeved dress and her big boots. But she had a sling over her shoulder that was attached unto her SIG MPX K, which was still factory-made, not modified yet. She was wearing a serious face, which was cute.

"Today, I will teach you how to use a gun properly!" I said as I stood in front of them, facing them.

"All of you have picked your guns, so you must have learned how it feels, how it shoots, and how to operate it, except for Eri, of course." I added. I grabbed the rifle that was attached into a sling, which was hanging over my shoulder. The guns we're carrying hadn't been modified or improved yet, so all of it were still new from HOTD world. And the guns weren't loaded yet.

"First and the most important, never point the barrel where you don't want to shoot at." I pointed my HK416 to ground. The girls then nodded and pointed the gun downwards including Eri.

"You always want to change the fire mode to safety when you aren't going to shoot anymore." because some idiots would just grab a loaded gun and, accidentally, shoot themselves with it.

"Second, never put your finger over the trigger when you aren't aiming or shooting." the girls nodded and hurriedly pulled out their finger out of the trigger.

"You never know if the gun's fire mode is not in safety and if there's a bullet in the chamber,"

"Third, when you found an enemy or contact, make sure you distance yourself with anyone," because there was an officer that died because he ran into path of bullets. The story was like this, there was another officer shooting the threat from behind, and the officer wanted to move to the other side. When he did, he was shot in the head by the other officer.

"Ryuu, come here," I called. Ryuu walked over with her HK416 and stood on the right side of me.

"Mikasa, I want you to step forward a bit," Mikasa stepped forward, distancing herself from the line of the girls and Eri.

"Good, now Ryuu, I want you to keep aiming at Mikasa, as Mikasa run, got it?"

"Yes," Ryuu replied.

"Then, Mikasa, I want you to run to your right side, alright?"

"Ok," Mikasa nodded.

"Then 3, 2, 1!" I said as I pointed my HK416 to Mikasa. Mikasa started running, Ryuu and I continued to aim our rifle to her until Ryuu's muzzle touched my rifle.

"Alright, that's enough, you can come back now. Ryuu, you just stand there and don't move. Now, as you can see that when you aren't putting enough distance with your friend, this what will happen. Friendly Fire." I said as I pointed the muzzle of Ryuu's rifle with my left hand.

"What I would do is... make sure we are giving distance between us about a meter or so and align our shoulder as well. It's okay though if the shoulder not align, but make sure that it's not that big of a difference." I took a wide step away from Ryuu and made sure our shoulder aligned.

"Oh, and never ever stand behind any friendly when there's a contact. I will demonstrate how will you 'peek' from the back of a friendly force. But for now, let's stay in this topic first.

"Now, Mikasa run to your right side again, please," I said as I readied my weapon.

"3, 2, 1," Mikasa ran to the side and Ryuu didn't aim at my finger nor my rifle.

"You can come back now, Mikasa. Now, you can see that I didn't enter Ryuu's path of fire anymore." I said. I walked over to Ryuu's back and stood behind her.

"Please surround us, so you can get a clear view of it," I said. The girls and Eri surrounded me and Ryuu.

"Now, if we were in a tight space, how do you peek from your friend's back, this is how. First, always aim your gun away from friendly forces." I said as I pointed upwards. Because if I pointed downwards, then it will either have the chance to shoot my friend's foot or my foot or just shoot the floor and make my friend jolt in surprise.

"Mikasa will you stand in the middle, facing us again? Please clear the front for Mikasa." I said. Mikasa walked over to the front of us and faced us.

"Now, Ryuu and I will point at Mikasa. Mikasa, please walk over to any side you want. In 3, 2, 1." Mikasa started walking to my right side, so I put my right foot align with Ryuu's foot that was at the back and put my left foot behind Ryuu. I peeked over from Ryuu's side and made sure my upper arm touched Ryuu's upper arm.

"Okay, stop, now, you can see that I'm standing like this because if Ryuu suddenly moved to the back or reloaded or such, my hand will get pushed away, but my footing is firm. Ryuu, will you aim to the right side, so you will hit my hand." Ryuu aimed her rifle towards the right side, while I was aiming straight. Her shoulder pushed my hand away.

"Okay, good, you see that if she moved suddenly and I wasn't ready, she would push me away, but I won't shoot her. But if you're like this." I stepped back and put my rifle barrel over her shoulder neck.

"I won't recommend this, as if it was a short-barreled rifle, pistol, or anything that has short barrel, then it will put Ryuu as my friendly force in risk." I said. I stepped forward again and demonstrated if the enemy was in the left. I put my left foot on Ryuu's foot that was at the back and put my right foot behind Ryuu. I put my elbow on Ryuu's rib cage.

"If the threat is on the left side, then you want to do like this." I said. The girls nodded and I decided to play a simple game. The game was about getting used to this technique. There will be 4 people that will be the shooter, and they will stand in the middle. There will be a person in each wind direction 3 or 4 steps away from the middle that became the target. They need to implement the techniques to the targets.

The target will yell their code, North as Alpha, East as Beta, South as Charlie, West as Delta, every 5 seconds interval in each yell. And so, the girls made into 4 groups of 8, there's a group that had 3 Shadow Clones. The target and the shooter will swap overtime.

While they were playing the simple game, I was with Eri. I was in my 9 years old appearance, so I could show her how to use the gun without having Eri to watch me in my 15 years old appearance. I explained her on her gun, like how to reload, holding the gun, aiming, and the basic stuffs. She started to repeat what I just did, which was beautifully done.

"Nice work, Eri! This gun will be modified by Hatsume, she will try to accessory the gun until you are comfortable with it." I said.

"Alright, but can I make this gun color to become... red?" she asked as she gazed on the gun that she was holding.

"Well, yes you can, just tell Hatsume about the color you want the gun to be painted to"

"Thanks, Alex! Hatsume-neesan!" she walked over to Hatsume and told her that she wanted her gun to be red, like an apple. Hatsume nodded and asked Eri to come to her later, as she was still training. Eri obediently nodded and walked back to me.

"How about trying to shoot a couple of mags?" I said.

"Okay!" She replied as she took out several mags from her space ring, her space ring had the capacity of a town so you could say unlimited storage. She put the mags on the ground and took a mag and loaded it into the gun. She pulled the charging handle and was confused where to shoot.

I used Earth Magic and made an earth wall 50 meters away. Eri aimed her gun to the earth wall and changed the fire mode to semi-automatic.

Bang

She instantly dropped the gun to the floor and covered her ears. The girls and I were also got the ringing noises, so I used Healing Magic on all of us. The ringing noises stopped and all our hearings became normal again.

"It's so loud, Alex," Eri said as she removed her hands from her hands.

"Sorry, Eri, my bad. Let me just muffle the gun first." I said. I used Space Magic on the gun, so it wouldn't produce such loud noise.

"Try it now, Eri," Eri picked the gun up and aimed the gun again. Her fingers stopped when she pressed the trigger halfway. She closed her eyes and pressed the trigger real hard.

Thump

The bullet hitting the earth wall was the only sound generated. Eri opened her eyes and continued shooting again. When the magazine was empty, she pushed the magazine release button. The magazine dropped to the ground, and she picked up another magazine. She put a new mag to the gun and pressed the bolt release button, which was the right side of the gun on top of the trigger. The bolt closed and the gun was ready to fire.

Eri went all out, she switched the fire mode unto full auto and started emptying the mags. She had a smile on her face as she fired the gun. The girls continued to train, while I watched Eri emptied all the mags.
