Chapter 101 Eri
The next day, Bakugo's punishment days ended, and he joined us again in the class.
"So we had a conference about potential work studies for first-years yesterday. Plenty of teachers, eve the principal said 'Don't even think about it.'" Eraser Head said. Everyone was disappointed by this as they want to experience such work-study.
"Take that!" Bakugo shouted. He's acting like this because he didn't have the provisional license, so he couldn't do work-study.
"Bla bla bla bla. As such, we will allow agencies that proven track records that offer work-study to take on first-years. That's our decision." Eraser Head continued. Then everyone started to wonder about their previous mentor as they are the ones that have the track records.
"CRAP!" Bakugo didn't expect that the teachers would allow the students to join work-study after hearing the previous words from Eraser Head. Then the lesson continued.
In the weekend or rather Sunday, Deku took off to Nighteye Hero Agency in the morning. I was at my own room which means at my house in the 'Soul World'. The others told me that Deku already left as I walked over to the common area of the dorm.
Bakugo and Shoto left the dorm as they will be joining the 3-months special training for getting Provisional Hero License. The girls and I went to the cafe as my 'work study' is with Walsh Hero Agency.
Apparently, the wild, wild pussycats' members retired as Shino and Ryuko got married to me as well as Ragdoll was heavily traumatized by the last villain attack. Tiger also retired as his or rather her life revolves around the wild, wild pussycats. Tiger was a girl until she went to Thailand... you get the point, he returned to Japan with a different gender.
Anyway, I was pampered by the girls as they are the one who wanted to pamper me. I was in my 9 years old appearance sitting at Saber's lap when the news talking about pros loosing their quirk. I smirked at this as I thought about what about to happen.
A week passed as I was pampered by the girls, the school started again and all of us were in the class. Except Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Kirishima as they are still in their work-study sessions. I looked over to Deku, and he was thinking about what just been happening in the last week. I understand that he wants to save everyone, but yet he let Eri go with Overhaul.
He could clearly remember that Eri was asking for help, but he let her go and this matter made him frustrated. The lesson started, and he couldn't even concentrate on the class. In the afternoon class, Deku was reprimanded by Eraser Head because Deku seems couldn't concentrate after the work-study.
So Deku went to All Might, meanwhile, I with the others went back to our dorm.
9 days passed, Kirishima, Tsuyu, and Uraraka got back from their work-study in the next day when Deku met All Might to talk about what's in his head. I also got a message to attend a meeting from Nighteye agency, but I didn't attend the meeting as it's not that important for me.
Anyway, at 8 AM, I was wearing my black assassin outfit while waiting for others to get into action near the Yakuza stronghold. I won't be killing them as I want them to be loyal to me, I have a plan for them that would certainly help me and the girls in the future. But of course, they will be punished for their doings.
I was at a roof with the girls, the girls took out picnic carpets and rolled them on the floor. They also took out foods, and so we sat and ate together. The girls were trying to feed me all at once.
"Eat this, Alex." Mikasa said as she was holding an egg roll with chopsticks right by my mouth. I opened my mouth, and she put the egg roll in my mouth. I ate it and Ais also followed Mikasa's move. They kept feeding me until there was a loud explosion from a distance.
BOOM
"Sorry, girls, seems my queue has come." I said as I stood up and looked at the source of the loud noise. I conjured water wings with crackling lightning around it to be cool.
"You girls could wait near there, I might need you to take care someone for me." I flapped the water wings and flew there. The girls instantly warped over to there with the help of Himiko's darkness magic.
I flew over to a massive hole on the ground and stood in the air right on top of the hole. There're a dragon, Ryukyu, and a giant humanoid wrestling, no, Ryukyu was pinning the giant humanoid to the ground. I flew down to the hole and looked around. The basement was huge and there were piles of rubble that was once a road.
"Ho~, you're not inviting to the party?" I said sarcastically. Everyone was surprised by my arrival, but Deku shouted.
"ALEX, TAKE THE GIRL AND GO!"
"Meh, I could clearly kill him with a thought. But let me do my stuff first." I teleported Eri to my hand and Eri was surprised by this. I carried Eri with my right hand and used my left hand to take off my hood. After I took off my hood, I said.
"Hello, Eri, I'm Alex Walsh, your average God that becomes a hero for fun! You can call me Alex, Eri." Eri hugged me and looked down at Overhaul.
"Please save them!" She begged while crying and trembling looking at the sacrifice the heroes made. I nodded and patted her head. I made wind blades and cut Overhaul's limbs.
"AHHHH!!!" Overhaul screamed in pain while wiggling in the ground. I slowly descended and landed, I looked at Deku and healed him. I looked over to Nighteye who was pierced by rock spikes by his chest and arm.
"You will keep living, Nighteye," I crushed the stone piercing his chest and arm until it was dust. I healed him and looked at Eri who's hugging me while trembling. I caressed her head and asked.
"Eri, do you want to fly?" Eri looked up at me and nodded blankly. I conjured a pair of water wings for her. She was surprised by this and she tried touching it. She touched the water wing and looked at her finger, it was dry.
As she was busy with this, I took out my phone and called someone.
"Tut... Tut... Tut... Hello, boss?"
"Stain, I need you to bring 3 teams to bring these fuckers from the yakuza to the 'Soul World'. Act fast, I want all of them to be loyal to me by the time we go to another world! Punish them also for their doings, I will leave this matter to you." I said.
"YES, BOSS!!!" Stain said from the other side of the call. I ended the call and put my phone back to my pocket. I looked at Eri again and asked.
"Ready, Eri?" She nodded eagerly and her eyes were shining with excitement as well. I started to control Eri's water wings, and she started to fly. She was smiling and laughing happily. Ryukyu who was seeing this scene smiled as she has a soft spot for children.
I took out a typical leather watch and made Eri to fly beside me.
"Eri, I want you to wear this. It will make you quirkless. Now, show me your left hand." I said as I showed her the leather watch. The watch is the device to manage quirk which been developed by Garaki, a while back ago. He also invented a bullet which would just erase quirk. These things have been produced from a year ago.
Anyway, Eri hesitated about showing her arm as Overhaul would take her blood and DNA also, but she showed me her left hand. I wore the watch to her hand and set the setting to be quirkless.
"You're quirkless now, Eri! You could set it to make you have your quirk again, but it would be unnecessary since it just a hassle." She started crying and hugged me tightly by my neck.
"HUA!!" She cried loudly while putting her head on my shoulder. Ryukyu transformed back to her human form and walked over to me. She didn't say anything, but kept silent.
"AGH!!!" I looked over to Overhaul who is shouting in pain. I used Time Magic on him and just time lock him. I don't want Eri to get scared again because of him.
I sat down at the ground and let Eri cry on my shoulder. Nighteye and Deku, who saw this, nodded at me and left the big basement to search for Mirio. Ryukyu sat near me as she watched Eri who slowly drifted unto drowsiness.
"Must be tough on her," Ryukyu said as Eri is asleep.
"A kid who never received any kindness and love before, used by those fuckers for their selfish dream. It must be hell for her to experience that." I said as I carried Eri. The reason Eri cried loudly after she became 'quirkless' is because her quirk, Rewind, was the reason that she suffered. She made her father 'vanished' or rather erased from existence accidentally, and she was blamed for it by her mother.
Her grandfather, the head of the yakuza, left her in the care of Overhaul so that he could identify her quirk. But after Eri's grandfather fell into critical state of illness, that fucker instantly experimented with Eri. Eri was experimented for hundreds, no, thousands times, and she tried to escape. But no avail.
Seeing Overhaul's doings, how can one not be enraged? I'm not letting the yakuza members scoot-free including Eri's grandfather. Overhaul? He's going nowhere. I'll make sure that he will fear Eri in the future. But after doing their punishment, they will be useful.
The girls warped to me and looked at Eri at my shoulder. They sat silently and looked at Ryukyu who was surprised by their sudden appearance. Mikasa and Ais instantly sat beside me and looked over to Eri, they didn't do anything other than staring.
Anyway, Deku and Nighteye brought Mirio to me, and they asked for me to heal him and return his quirk. I healed him and used time magic to rewind the time to restore his quirk. After I've just the deed, Stain arrived with his team and 2 other teams. They appeared right in front of me while wearing black spec ops uniforms, I stopped them from saluting and said.
"Start teleporting them to the 'Soul World'. I want you to punish them for their doings, Utaha will be sending their deeds to you. Don't kill them, but make Overhaul fear Eri, this little girl. Just punish them however you like." Stain nodded and started directing his team and the other teams to teleport the members of the Yakuza.
Ryukyu, Deku, Nighteye, and Mirio were surprised by their appearance especially Stain, the hero killer. I stopped them from attacking him.
"Stop, he's my people now, he's just here upon my order to fetch these fuckers." They nodded slowly and looked at Stain who is currently on his phone texting the Intelligent department from the look of it. He needs the ones in the police ranks to let the captured ones transferred to him.
Anyway, Deku started asking very quietly about Stain, the others, except for the girls, tuned in also. Deku only asked about Stain ranks in the military since he doesn't really know about the military stuff. I answered that Stain is an officer which answered Deku's question.
Mirio, Ryukyu, and Nighteye were very disappointed by Deku's question as they expected him to ask me something important about Stain, not ranks. So the girls and I went back to the dorm as I've healed the pros and police in the raid. I took Eri with me, of course, and Ryukyu insisted to come with us, but couldn't as she needed to take care the situation first.
I told her that she could visit Eri later by visiting the cafe. She nodded calmly, but I don't know whether she could enter the U.A. High's environment since she's not a teacher nor a staff. So we bid her goodbye and teleported back to the dorm.
As we arrived at my dorm's room, I teleported the case which has 5 bullets that could erase quirk to my hand, I simply burned them until only dust remained. Deku and the others didn't head back to the dorm rather they reported to the police what just happened and some paperworks.
