1 Prologue

"–and next on the list is Suho Name and–" the new assistant homeroom teacher finally announced loudly to the entire class. From the view Jojo's seat provided, she could see crossed fingers of the students whose names had not been called on yet, in high hopes of being partnered with the golden student of Ha-Yan Highschool.

As for her, she was sat back and relaxed with not a worry in the world. Her partner had already been chosen right before the school even resumed, she made sure of that. Her dozen failed attempts to make the perfect cake made sure of that. And despite the morning news she still felt confident that Mr Jang never failed in this promises. She wished a good luck to whichever unfortunate soul picked to be partnered up with our school mascot.

"–Suho Nam and Kim Jojo." the bomb finally dropped.

Jojo gasped in shock causing the citrus flavored sweet, she'd been licking since the assembly, to fall from her mouth and land on her desk with a thud. Her best friends gasped and the others who knew who she was gasped too. The Class-A1 students who were transfered to our class who didn't know who she was begun asking around while Jojo, with a cold sweat running down her forehead—despite the chilly weather— sunk deeper into her seat in an attempt to hide. Everyone burst into whispers and head turned around in search of her.

Jojo's eyes shifted towards Mr Jang in question. He looked quite shocked himself too.

" Kim Jojo? Where is she seated? It must be way back." Someone spoke up amongst the whispers of the students.

" Kim Jojo? Doesn't sound so familiar." Someone else commented.

" Damn it, we are too many so I can't figure out who it could be."

"Jojo? What is happening I thought Mr Jang had this covered." Ra-im hissed in a low tone leaning in so that no one could eavesdrop.

" Believe me when I say I have absolutely no idea what is going on. " Jojo whispered back to her stealing a glance at the teachers to find them in a sort of hushed argument.

A boy groaned. " This class is lame."

" RIP, that Kim Jojo, Kim Bona and many other honorary students were rooting for her spot." The students kept on

" A dead bitch. "
