CHAPTER 1 — Their Beloved Meeting

The wind rustles, dry grasses sweep the floor with it, birds chirping and the sounds of crickets in the background. Alicia sighs, and brushes her bare foot in the sea sand. She had snuck away from the palace at dawn as usual to get some early morning breeze and watch the sunrise.

She then swirls and twirls in the sand and her flay gown flowing with her…. Unknowingly, she had attracted the eye of a handsome and young bachelor, who had woken early as well in his hotel room. He always wants a room with an ocean view, who knew that this precious habit of his would earn him a free view of the most angelic beauty he had set his eyes upon?

Alicia continued doing her thing, after about 30 minutes, she felt a scorching gaze on her body, so she tactically turned and her eyes locked with that of a stranger. Shen was mesmerized and kept staring for a minute.

Eeshiah, Eeshiah, she hears the voice of someone distantly and snapped out of her thoughts, it was her five year old brother Alexander, running from a distance, she ran towards him quickly as he stumbled and he fell into her arms.

Alex, you shouldn't have followed me here, she says whilst ruffling his hair, chuckling, she suddenly remembers something and looks towards the direction of the stunning stranger, and boom! He was gone! As though he was a figment of her imagination… She carried Alex and soon she had forgotten about the handsome stranger.

Adrian's POV

I stretched and got off my bed, feeling refreshed after yesterday's tedious day. I've been anticipating for so long just clicked. These Mayor bastards have really tired me out, he thought out loud. He had only come to the seaside to cool down and get refreshed, he particularly loved the smell of the beach and the cool breeze that hovered around the waters.

Adrian stood up to get a look at the marvelous view it offered. He got lost in the mesmerizing beauty the view offered, Alicia walked past at that very moment and Adrian could swear he held his breath. "Who's she?", he thought aloud to himself. He picked up the phone and requested for a background check on the amazingly stunning woman, he just set his eyes on.

Within the next 5 minutes, he was reading out her name aloud, Alicia, it slid off his lips like butter. Exactly my type of woman, never been in a relationship. He took his surfing board and dashed out into the beach. He brushed past her and dashed into the sea, the waves were on a high, so he got to give it his best and he looked so sexy by the way, Alicia and the hot bikini ladies literally drooled at the sight of his well toned abs and muscles, it was like he was a river god, he literally basked in the sunlight.

Eieshah, eishah, eishah, and she broke out of her trance, "hey Lexxie", what do you need baby?, I need to pee pee, he grimaced while squeezing his legs, okay baby, let's get you to the restroom. She took a last glance at Adrian and walked off with Alex.

Adrain had just finished his showoff and was heading to Alicia, when over a dozen skinny bikini beauties crowded and surrounded him, he eventually dismissed them and lost sight of Alicia. After he successfully evaded the annoying flies swarming around him, he went in search of the beauty he'd set his sights on.

On their way out, she stumbled into someone's chest. Upon looking up, she trailed sweat down from his nether regions, up to his chest, up to his sexy lips and finally at his face. You could clearly see the smirk on his lips as he said, "satisfied with what you see?" Startled, she jumped out of her reverie, and hurriedly apologized and rushed out of his presence.
