Chapter 4 : Energy

The rising sun slowly illuminates the peaceful Hillmour Village with a gentle breeze that accompanies the warm rays of the sun. Hillmour Village, is a village that is quite large for the size of a village and is surrounded by lots of green hills and meadows. This village is currently where Hyuma lives, at Silva's house to be precise.

A few minutes after dawn, Silva, Neira and Hyuma having breakfast cooked by Silva himself. Silva's house is a cafe that is attached to a private house. His daily life after retiring from Hunter, he now open a Cafe for a living, although his savings after retirement are very large. But for today Silva temporarily closed his Cafe as he focused on Hyuma's training.

Currently their position is in the Teasm field, which is Silva's own field. The name of the farm is adapted to the name of the cafe, Teasm, because the location of the farm is also behind Silva's house and cafe. The field is not very wide, and there is a herd of cows in the eastern part of the field. And behind the fields are the hills and houses of the local people not far from here, so this is the perfect place for training.

"Okay.. Your Intelligence Stats have gone up one point.. which means your body is already filled with Mana.. well.. even though I haven't feel it in you yet.. but I'm sure you still can't figure out how to apply Mana.. considering you just set foot in this world.. therefore..."<Silva>

Silva explaining about Mana and how to apply it, the point of which is that every creature must have Mana's blessings from birth, because for Silva and Neira, Mana is a blessing from the God Eaft since the beginning of the world's creation, then continues to be passed down from ancestors to generations recently. Regarding the way of practicing Mana, it starts with gathering Mana from the body. This can be done by uniting 'will' and 'Mana Core'. by combining those two components the application of Mana can be realized.

"With those two things.. you will be able to do this.."<Silva>

Silva's right palm emitted a faint white, semi-transparent Mana Aura like smoke.

Hyuma who saw this widened his eyes with admiration, even though he could see Mana flow through body in Mana Circuit ora Even Mana Core, but all that sight obtained after the series of incidents of Hyuma's Godsphere Sealing Ritual which emitted various Mana Auras until the explosion occurred in the Basement room also went unnoticed by Hyuma, because his condition at that time was in a stupor.

but he couldn't see Mana in his own body like he see in Silva and Neira's body.

"It's easier for beginners.. first close your eyes.. second.. feel the flow of Mana energy in your body.. then focus your Mana flow on your right hand"<Silva>

Following Silva's suggestion, Hyuma immediately closed his eyes while adjusting his breathing slowly until he became calm er. But what Hyuma felt was different from what Silva had just described.

In his mind, Hyuma wondering 'I don't know what it feels like to flow Mana in my body.. and I don't feel it at all.. apart from my heartbeat and.. around me'<Hyuma>

What Hyuma feel are all the circumstances around him. Starting from the wind, Silva and Neira's heartbeat, their breathing, even to the steps of the ants walking in rows behind the stones and grass.

Don't know why Hyuma could feel and hear all that, but he enjoy it so much that it even made him feel one with the surrounding nature. By the time Hyuma feel comfortable with what he was feeling and hearing, he feel something else touch his skin and seep into his body.

'What's this?? is this what they called Mana?? But.. really??'<Hyuma> Hyuma hesitated to confirm the elemental particles that entered his body and made him want to open his eyes to examine his body but he can't, even his whole body can't move.

'keeugghhh... why.. I.. can't open my eyes??! My body too..'<Hyuma>

*Dung*

"Bahhh..!!! hahhh.. hahh..."<Hyuma> Both of his eyes immediately opened and he can move his body again after a loud sound like a gong being hit suddenly was heard.

Hyuma hold his breath for a moment and looked around and saw Silva and Neira.

"why are you guys looks like that??" <Hyuma> asked Hyuma who was curious.

Silva and Neira scowled and stared intently at Hyuma with a gaze full of big question marks, then Silva responded "Hyuma.. take a look at yourself"<Hyuma>

Hyuma immediately checked his hands and was amazed "Woww..."<Hyuma>

Hyuma's whole body emitted a thick and thick golden yellow aura, so did the color of his eyes which also changed, from black to bright yellow. The wind blew around Hyuma making his hair flutter slightly.

"Is this Mana Aura??"<Hyuma> Asked Hyuma.

Neira hesitantly replied "I-I don't know.. In general, Mana has a general color that is smooth white and slightly transparent.. and I've also seen Mana with other colors like green and another.. but.. this aura you emit ... a little different.. and I.. don't feel Mana from your aura"<Neira>

"That's not Mana.. I've used my 'Eye Insight'.. but I can't detect Mana from that Aura.. which means.. That aura isn't Mana.. Hyuma.. what did you feel when you closed your eyes earlier???"<Silva> Ask Silva.

"When I closed my eyes and focused while controlling my breath... I.."<Hyuma> Hyuma explained everything he felt and what he heard, starting from the wind, heartbeat, friction between grasses, the movement of ants behind small stones, to the sound of the gong blowing.

After hearing Hyuma's explanation, the two of them couldn't say anything but amazed. But Silva, who was still curious, couldn't help but ask "You said that something seeps into your body after feeling and listening to everything around you??"<Silva>

Hyuma nodded with the strange Aura still lingering in his body, then Silva immediately concluded "There's no mistake.. The aura that Hyuma emits is not Mana.. but a power from nature.. no.. even deeper than nature.. that is something even neither can we see nor can we feel… even though we have used the Skill"<Silva>

"Indeed, what is power from nature or deeper and what is its name?"<Neira> asked Neira who was confused.

Silva's shoulders lifted "I don't know.. but if it concerns nature or something deeper than nature.. it's a dimension that we can't even measure"<Silva>

Neira little confused about Silva's explanation, but for the most part she understood about Hyuma's realm of base power beyond reason and agreed about it, considering that Hyuma already had a Godsphere at the age of a child turning into a teenager.

The Godsphere is a mysterious power that only certain people have. People who possess the Godsphere are people who have reached a enlightement Transcendent level or obtained it through the bloodline of a great ancestor. Even so, someone from the bloodline of a noble ancestor might not be able to use the Godsphere that easily, let alone at a young age.

Hyuma was a very different case and very phenomenal because this is the first time a child have Godsphere, moreover his Godsphere pressure was enormous.

"Then.. can I use this power to become a Hunter??"<Hyuma> asked Hyuma that little worried and subconsciously released his Aura.

Seeing Hyuma's concern, Silva smiled and encouraged him "We won't know if you don't try... but I'm sure the method of use might be the same as those of us who use Mana"<Silva>

Neira nodded and also cheered him on "We always have a way.. whatever the problem is.. there must be a solution.. that's our Motto"<Neira>

Hyuma smiled and nodded at the encouraging words from Silva and Neira.

"Then.. first of all.. let's do the basics first… like a punch or something like that"<Silva>

Punches are a method of measuring a person's strength, this is commonly used by novice Hunters.

Silva's right hand stretches forward and uses his ability as a Summoner "Summon 'Phalaeon'"<Silva>

The Summon magic circle appears and a Summon creature in the form of a knight similar to Valor but smaller in size, which is the size of an adult human in general while carrying purple crystal shields in both hands.

"Hosshh"<Phalaeon> Pahalaeon looked down to greet his master, Silva.

Silva nodded momentarily instructing him to receive the attack. Phalaeon who understood immediately straightened up and said "Hosshh"<Phalaeon>

"Okay Hyuma.. listen to my words and observe carefully"<Silva>

He walked towards Phalaeon standing and stopped right in front of him.

*Srukk*

Silva took a stance with one hand on his right hip to prepare to throw a punch.

"First of all.. feel for a moment the flow of Energy that is throughout your body.. then focus your mind on the hand you will use to attack.. then inject your Energy into that hand" <Silva> said Silva firmly.

*Fssshhh*

Silva's hand that was preparing on his right waist emitted a faint white Mana Aura with quite high intensity, then...

*Duaasss*

A deafening loud punch that sent a wave of wind spreading over the surrounding area until some grass slightly fluttered.

Hyuma's mouth opened wide with a shocked expression seeing one powerful punch from Silva that hit Phalaeon's shield.

"Fiuuhh.. that's it.. hehe.."<Silva> He said with a smile. Then he continued to say "now it's your turn Hyuma.. follow what I said earlier and do as I did just now"<Silva>

*gulp*

Hyuma swallow his saliva and nodded, then he walk over to Phalaeon who was ready with his two shields combined into one.

Meanwhile Silva walked over to where Neira was standing, and Neira said in a low voice "aren't you going a bit excessive just now?"<Neira>

"excessive?? I just practice what I teach with easier methods.. if I do it half way and don't have any strength.. then Hyuma will practice it half way too"<Silva>

Neira took a deep breath while slapping her forehead because she couldn't believe that her friend named Silva became a teacher who taught a student with perfunctory methods.

Hyuma, who was already standing right in front of Phalaeon, immediately formed a stance with one right hand clenched at the waist like Silva did before, then he closed his eyes.

In less than 5 seconds, Hyuma's hand emitted a thick and dense golden yellow Aura Energy, as well as his eyes opened as well as changed. But there is one thing that made Hyuma confused.

'Wait.. no loud sound from Gong hitting like before??'<Hyuma> Hyuma muttered to himself, but Hyuma immediately ignore it and focus on the Phalaeon shield in front of him that preparing to receive a blow from Hyuma.

Hyuma took a breath for a moment by inhaling and exhaling slowly. Without him noticing, the Aura radiating from the energy that gathered in Hyuma's tightly clenched right hand also gradually became brighter, thicker and denser, covering almost half of the field with golden yellow light. The nearby farm animals such as cows, ducks, and chickens couldn't help but ignore the light source, Then..

"Haaaatttt..!!!"<Hyuma> Hyuma immediately exerted his strength and attacked Phalaeon's shield and..

*Bwoomm*

A huge burst of energy emerged from Hyuma's punch and engulfed Phalaeon's entire body destroying the surrounding ground and the grass behind it.

*Fwsshh*

After the bursts of energy stopped, the golden yellow light started to fade. Phalaeon's body began to be seen and only half of his body remained with his two legs still stuck in the ground, while his upper body and two shields which had been destroyed were nothing left, and also behind him was a hollow land that was destroyed in a straight line splitting the field land until it almost reached the hill closest.

Neira's eyes widened with her mouth wide open when she saw Hyuma's punch which resulted in a huge energy explosion like big beam.

'what was that??!!'<Neira> while looking at Silva and Hyuma repeatedly with an astonished face.

Silva who was watching next to Neira while crossing her arms immediately grinned 'my aftertime show the truth'<Silva>

Now, he more convinced that Hyuma isn't just any kid, and he immediately concluded that Hyuma would be the center of revolution in this world.

Hyuma's body trembled with fear and turned towards Silva. "I-I'm sorry, Mr. Silva.. I-I didn't mean to kill.. Phalaeon" <Hyuma> said Hyuma with a trembling voice of fear.

Silva laughed seeing Hyuma scared of the power of his own punch "Hahahahaha.... take it easy... don't worry about Phalaeon.. he's not dead.. my Summons won't die unless I.. the master dies"<Silva>

"B-b-but..."<Hyuma>

"Look.." <Silva> said Silva, pointing at Phalaeon's half body which slowly disappeared like glittering trinkets flying into the air.

Then Silva continued to speak "I never thought that the Energy you emit has that much power"<Silva>

"I'm also got shock to see that punch earlier.. and.... Woww.. it shouldn't be a punch from a 12 year old boy"<Neira> said Neira in awe.

Hyuma's cheeks began to turn red at the praise from Silva and Neira, but Hyuma's celebration only lasted for a moment when Silva announced his training schedule.

"Alright.. now that we know the size of your power.. now.. it's time for the real Training" <Silva>

"Wait.. that punch just now wasn't training??"<Hyuma> ask Hyuma.

"Hahahaha... that was just the opening.. just to measure strength.. because with that.. we can know where we will start the training"<Silva>

Then Silva give an explanation of his training schedule for the next 3 years. Silva will become the Master of Physical, and Neira will become the Master of Energy Strength Management. They are perfect teachers for Hyuma who have a very late start to begin with, even though Hyuma have immense power within him.

"Before that.. I want to ask first.. because I was the one who will teach Hyuma about Mana management.. I mean.. Hyuma's strange energy"<Neira>

"Please ask"<Silva>

"Hyuma.. I don't know what Energy is in you.. we have a core Energy called Mana Core in our bodies.. The Mana Core is what produces and circulates Mana through circuits in the body and becomes Energy Mana.."<Neira >

"Then what's the question??"<Silva> Silva immediately interrupted Neira's words.

"I just wanted to say it.. don't interrupt... what I want to ask is.. what is the name of the Energy you are using??"<Neira>

Hyuma tilted his head "Hmm?? I.. I don't know.. I don't know the name of the Energy I used just now" <Hyuma>

"That's not what I meant.."<Neira>

Silva immediately interrupted Neira's words again for an easier explanation "what Neira means is... you.. Hyuma.. who has unique Energy for the first time and no one knows about your golden Energy.. including us.. so.. you have the right to give the name of the energy you used.. because of that.. Neira asked the name of the gold energy you used earlier"<Silva>

Hyuma immediately understood when Silva explained what Neira meant "Ahh.. I understand.. name huh.. name....."<Hyuma> Hyuma thingking for a moment and pondering.

Silva and Neira also waited but it wasn't long after that, within minutes Hyuma had an idea for a name for his Energy.

"I-I've decided..!!"<Hyuma>

"Hmm?? What is it?"<Neira> asked Neira.

Hyuma grinned and answered "My energy name is 'Kin'"<Hyuma>

Kin, a word that comes from Japanese which means, Gold.
