---Still Niao Chyou's POV---
"R-Reon-Kun..." Takabana-san's complexion changed because of the appearance of the class's alpha.
"Even if you saw him there, you have no proof that he spread the rumors, right? And he didn't even have any benefit to get from spreading the rumor, in the first place," said him still with his usual smile.
But for Takabana-san, that smile must be making her felt a heavier pressure. But even so, this is still a chance that she can't let slip.
"He doesn't need any benefit! He just found it fun! He even-" (Takabana)
But before Takabana-san could mention anything, Togami-kun cut her words.
"Hear him out, Takabana! Reon's words are true!" (Hiroto)
*Sigh!*
"H-He sighed...?"
After sighing, Lance-kun let out an even more surprising response.
"I am,"
"Eh?" Not only Togami-kun, but the whole class is also rather surprised with his response.
"I'm surprised you knew. I did saw you and I'm the one who spread the rumor. And it's normal for me to think like that, right? You're going inside that abandoned mansion in pairs, after all," said Lance-kun. His expression is the same as always.
As if the event has nothing to do with him, and as if the result of this quarrel won't affect anything towards him.
"R-Ray-kun...?" (Revi)
Of course, Revi and I know that he must not be the culprit.
But at the same time, we didn't know what motive he has for accepting the blame. But the ones who didn't believe his words are only us.

"To make a rumor about Tachibana-san... How lowly..."

The other classmates started to chatter and talk ill of him.
For the others, it won't matter what is the truth and whether he is really the one who spread the rumor or not. And it would be easier to let it end with him in the fault, since having the loner of the class shouldering the blame would be easier for the class to regain its usual atmosphere, after all.
"Well, I'm just saying what I thought. And it turns out that it got spread into the whole academy, what can I do?" He said with a shrug.
"Well, since I'm the one who shared the rumors, I'm sorry," He apologized towards Takabana-san.
I look at Takabana-san's face, and she's as perplexed as I am. It seems that even though she's the one who started the commotion, the outcome is rather unexpected for her.
"You... You're even worst than I imagined..." said Tachibana-san as tears gathered at the corner of her eyes when she left the class in hurry.
"W-What are you..." (Takabana)
With Tachibana-san leaving the class like that, the last blow towards Lance-kun's reputation in the class broke into pieces. The others stare at him with much more disdain in their eyes as they curse him.
And somehow, the atmosphere of the class started to make me uncomfortable.
It is said that when people are having negative emotions, they will unleash malice, while that malice will attract evil spirits since that malice is their food. And with that, they will become stronger.
Even though I couldn't see that 'malice' energy unleashed by the other classmates, I guess that I could still sense the uncomfortable feeling it gives me.
Lance-kun seems to whisper something towards Togami-kun before he left the class, leaving Togami-kun with a bitter expression.
"That fucking bitch..." (Revi)
"R-Revi!?" I exclaimed in surprise because of the unexpected harsh words that came out from Revi's mouth.
Revi is usually cool and indifferent. Different from Lance-kun that brings a kind of a dark aura with him, she brings a weightless atmosphere that made me forget any complicated things that weigh my mind.
She never shows any attraction towards anyone, whether it's affection nor hostility except towards Lance-kun and me. For her to speak ill about a person to that extent, means that the person who she speaks ill of must have crossed the boundaries.
I know she never likes Takabana-san since the beginning, but for her to say that much...
"That bitch, that bitch... I'll shred her to pieces..." (Revi)
Okay, I think she hates her too much.
"Revi! Revi! The others will hear you, you know!" I warned her with a whisper.
"......" Revi stares at me with the same glare she's stealthily giving towards Tachibana-san for a while.
"R-Revi....?"
*Sigh!*
Revi let out a heavy sigh.
"Well, I guess he must have his own reasons for accepting the blame. I guess I'll respect his choice and pretend I didn't see anything, huh..." said Revi as her complexion reverted to normal.
"Y-You're back..."
"I'm back. Now, Nia. We forgot our main objective for the first break. Let's go to Suzuka-sensei as soon as possible and ask her," Revi reminds me of my main worry.
"Ah! You're right! Let's go!"
The both of us rushed outside the class and went to the teacher's office to ask about the weird gaze I've been experiencing, but...
"Huh? Weird gazes? Then it's a stalker, right? It's too troublesome, how about talking to the police?" said Suzuka-sensei as she clearly wanted to chase us out.
At least please remove that face that is clearly saying 'what a pain in the ass' sensei...
"Sensei! It might be something serious! Nia's life might be in danger, didn't the academy promised our safety in this city!?" Revi voice her protest.
"Hm... What a trouble... Ah!" Suzuka-sensei's face brighten up.
"I've become the advisor of the newly established service club, you see! How about asking them?"
"Sensei! it might be an ayak-" (Revi)

Before Revi finished the word, 'Ayakashi', Suzuka-sensei flicked her hand, and at the same time, Revi' stopped her words.
"That word is classified, little girl. Now girls, since you have no definite proof that the 'weird gaze' Niao Chyou's sensed lately came from a mystical being, then there is still a possibility that there is someone stalking you from behind,"

"Then have a good time!" said Suzuka-sensei as she left the teacher's office.
I guess I have no choice but to come to that service club she mentioned, I guess?
But wait, I wonder why did she said 'Have a good time?'

Following Suzuka-sensei's words, I went to the service club's clubroom after cleaning the class together with Revi since today's our turn.
But...
"Huh!? They've gone home!?" I exclaim my surprise.
"Yeah... I forgot to tell you that I promised them that today I was just going to give them a brief explanation about the club, and I forgot to tell them about you as well... Sorry, Nia," Apologized Suzuka-sensei to me.
"It's fine, Sensei..."
"Well, I guess there's nothing we could do about it, Nia. Clubs are usually active on Saturday as well. Do this service club of yours active on Saturday as well, sensei?" (Revi)
"Yes! But well, one of the club members needs to take care of his family restaurant. So for tomorrow, they're accepting requests from there," Replied Suzuka-sensei as she pointed at a paper pasted in front of the clubroom's door.
"Family haven?"
"Yes, you can find its location on the internet. Modern days are sure handy, huh!?" (Suzuka-Sensei)
"This restaurant... Don't tell me..." Revi intensely stares at the name of the restaurant.
"Hm? You know that family restaurant, Miratsuka?" (Suzuka-Sensei)
"This is... Without a doubt... It's Ray-Kun's!!!" (Revi)
L-Lance-kun's family restaurant!?
At a moment, the image of him using an apron appeared inside my head.
No, no, no, no! What am I imagining!? But well... It does seem like it'll look rather good on him, though...
"Yeah. It's him. Is the family restaurant famous?" Asked Suzuka-Sensei as she seems like she's wondering whether she is just outdated or does the family restaurant is actually famous.
"Nia! I'll follow you tomorrow! Is that fine!?" (Revi)
"I-It's fine!"
"Hm... The one that is famous is that guy, huh..." (Suzuka-Sensei)
"Sensei?" (Revi)
"Nothing, nothing. Well, then go to that restaurant tomorrow and the service club will welcome you there. Have a good time," said her as she left.
Once again, she said 'Have a good time'.
Every time she said that line, her eyes slightly sharpen and I felt like the gaze felt kind of similar to the gaze that I felt before. but maybe it's just my imagination.
I wonder if it's because I watched too many detective series...
