070 - War

[A/N: This chapter is more of a wish-fulfillment than anything, hope you enjoy, also had less time to write this chapter since I had to go get a new SIM card for my Phone]

Soon after leaving my dimension and returning to the farmhouse, I sat down in the living room of the rather large house that has been modified by me a couple of times.

While resting I decided to pull the Militaristic Play-doh from my inventory and lay it out onto a large table in the living room.

Soon Mortimer walked into the room and looked at the play-doh that was rapidly splitting off to create a small military outpost.

"Oh? What is this?" Mortimer asked with curiosity.

"SCP-705, otherwise known as the Militaristic Play-Doh, here, come join me," I told Mortimer as I offered him a chair.

"Say, why don't we play a game of War?" I asked with a smile.

"Sounds...interesting, what are the rules?" Mortimer asked.

"I will play Red Team, you will play blue, we will both get limited recourses to start off with, but there will be more recourses to expand our army across the table as well as some unique and powerful units we could take control of after defeating them, the main goal is to win the war by killing all of the enemies Soldiers and destroying all of the enemies structures," I explained.

"What type of Units do we have access to and at what technological level is our army set to?" Mortimer asked.

"We will be using Modern Technology and Soldiers, across the table will be Unused Tanks and other Play-Doh vehicles, also, Small patches of Play-Doh will be littered across the table which we can scavenge and bring back to our bases to use to enhance our armies or create new units or buildings, as for buildings we can build a Barracks which will allow us to create Humanoid Soldiers for Play-doh, then we can use Garages to..." I then went on to explain the wide variety of buildings we would have access to and their relative upgrades.

I even included rare recourses that were basically different colored Play-Doh that were required for specific vehicles, units, and upgrades.

Of course, I used a small amount of Divine Energy to do this upgrade for the Militaristic Play-Doh.

"How about we increase the size of the table a bit and add a realistic environment to make this just a bit more fun?" I asked Mortimer who nodded.

"Sounds good, want to add anyone else into this little game of ours?" Mortimer asked.

"First let's do a test match, just to make sure it works," I told Mortimer.

Once I created a suitable terrain and scattered the recourses, we started the match.

I first built a Play-Doh Barracks and Infirmary next to the Play-Doh headquarters before creating 25 Play-Doh Soldiers that were armed with semi-automatic rifles with a Play-Doh commander to lead them, I then had them leave the base and go gather more Play-Doh for my army.

While they did that, I then created 50 more soldiers who would act as the base's guards and had them begin patrolling around the base and the local area.

And with that, my starting recourses were now used, I had to wait for my Scavenging team to come back with more Play-Doh.

Within a minute the fast-moving Play-Doh soldiers returned with some more Play-Doh which I used to create a second scavenging team.

By the time 10 minutes passed I had 5 Play-Doh scavenging teams traveling through the map looking for more recourses and Mortimer's Base.

By the time 30 Minutes passed, I had a few tanks and helicopters before I found Mortimer's base which was hidden within a mountain.

Our troops then exchanged fire and as my troops stromed into the mountain I was shocked to find that it was a trap!

The mountain's entrance exploded and collapsed, trapping half of my soldiers in the mountain!

Before long, more explosions ran out throughout the mountain, killing the trapped soldiers!

Then, my main force was ambushed and surrounded by more than a dozen tanks and helicopters accompined by more than 400 Soldiers!

And with that, I lost my entire army and soon my own base was destroyed.

"Well played," I told Mortimer.

"Same to you, I would have lost if I didn't use such tactics," He told me as he mentioned my army which was nearly twice the size of his.

"How about another game?" I asked with a smile.

"Sure, I don't mind beating you again," Mortimer boasted.
