43 043 - The Journey of a Dragonborn named Tommy

[Tommy's POV]

A few days later...

Located within the city of Whiterun the man who is known as the Thane of Whiterun, The Dragonborn, and the Honored Hero currently drinking within a tavern called The Bannered Mare.

That person would be me, a man who is both cursed and blessed with the ability to travel to other dimensions.

Who would have thought that I would go from a fat and weak man to a strong and brave warrior? Not only that but I am what's known as a Dragonborn, a slayer of dragons, and a master of the voice!

Sitting in the tavern drinking some mead and laughing with some of the townsmen I smiled as my housecarl/companion Lydia and I laughed and shared our adventurers of slaying a few dragons and clearing out entire camps of Bandits.

As I was laughing I noticed that my Mission Log was updated by Zephyr, my benefactor.

A while ago Zephyr completely removed the system from me but let my body keep its strength that I earned from my levels and experience.

Besides that, he gave me a different kind of system that he could issue me missions and even record missions that I sign up for.

Dragon Priests?

What the hell is a Dragon Priest?!

God damn it Zephyr, giving me another difficult task...

When I learned what an Elder Scroll was and its significant importance I cursed Zephyr with this impossible task.

After Lydia and I stopped partying I decided to head over to the Labyrinthian place Zephyr mentioned in his note, I don't know how he managed to mark it on my paper map but he did it all the same.

It only took us almost a full day via a horse ride to reach the place marked on the map and I was stunned by what I saw.

In the distance, I could see what looked to be a passageway in the mountains that led up to a grand nordic ruin at a size I haven't seen!

The strange thing was that I noticed there was no snow in the ruins as if the cold didn't affect the Ruins!

How strange!

Preparing for a possible fight Lydia and I slowly approached the ruins with our weapons drawn.

In the distance, we could see some kind of gate with two heavily armored people standing guard at the entrance.

The two people were large Knights standing at 7ft tall with full plate armor with Great helms covering their heads, a giant tower shield in their left hands, long spears in their right hands, and a sheathed sword to their sides.

Looking at the Great Helms I was surprised to find that there were no visible eyes, it was like they were statues as they stood at the entrance unmoving!

We drew closer and closer until we but a few feet away from them.

Only then did I realize that there two dancing Golden Flames that looked towards us!

The two Knights shifted their heads towards us and crossed their spears in front of their chests before stepping to the side.

A spine-chilling voice then spoke out from the armor "Zephyr awaits for you within the Dragon Priest Shrine at the center of the city...please enjoy your stay and follow the rules..."

We stood there stunned as we looked at the two Knights who stood to the side unmoving.

Knowing that these Knights were under Zephyr I lowered my guard and headed into the city with Lydia.

"What were those? And Zephyr? Isn't that your benefactor you keep talking about? Why is he here?" Lydia who stood by my side asked.

"I do not know," I responded simply looking around at the giant and ancient nordic city.

Something strange I immediately noticed upon passing the gates was that the inside of the city felt warm, as if unaffected by the bitter cold that surrounded the ancient city.

Walking through the city I noticed similar Knights around the city patrolling and guarding the empty nordic ruins...

The more I saw the Knights the stranger I found it, each and every one of the Knights looked the same, they all had the same armor, height, weapons, and even those strange Golden Flames that replaced the eyes.

Soon I found myself standing before a small raised circular structure that resembled a Dragon Burial Mound.

This is the Dragon Priest shrine the Knight talked about?

Looking at the two Knights on Guard at the entrance of the circular structure I stepped forward.

"Zephyr awaits for you inside," The two strange Knights answered at the same time before stepping to the side.

Looking at the weird Knights I sighed and stepped into the round structure.

There was a tunnel that circulated around the building and upon reaching the middle I found an Ancient but clean door that led into the Dragon Priest Shrine.

Lightly knocking on the door I heard Zephyr speak from the inside, "Come in!"

I opened the door and froze upon seeing another person sitting across from Zephyr.

Zephyr's long golden hair ran along the back of his white ornate robe that was covered in golden patterns with his handsome face smiling and his beautiful blue eyes shining bright like a Diamond.

Sitting across from Zephyr was another handsome man who had short black hair and golden eyes that looked at us with unhidden wisdom.

The unknown man wore ancient clothing that I found only in the Nordic Tombs and Crypts.

"Hey Tommy, meet the Dragon Priest Morokei," Zephyr introduced me to the strange man who merely nodded in response.

Morokei just looked at us with a calm expression and asked Zephyr, "A Dragonborn?"

"That's right, I never guessed that your connection with the Dragons was so keen that you could even sense a Dragonborn..." Zephyr replied.

"Of course, I have spent many years learning and standing in the presence of a dragon, if I could not sense that he was a Dragonborn then I am not worthy of being a Dragon Preist," Morokei answered.

"Uh...boss, this is a Dragon Priest?" I asked interrupting their conversation.

"Yea, but I returned him back to his original appearance, the Dragon Priests you will be searching for look like the Draugr with most of them even wearing a Mask like this," Zephyr informed me before pulling out a strange ornate blue mask.

"Anything else I should look for when searching for these...Dragon Priests?" I asked Zephyr.

"Uh yeah, they are usually wielding a Magic Staff and floating in the air..." Zephyr replied looking over at the floating Morokei with clear judgment in his eyes.

"What?" Morokei asked looking at our gazes.

"Nothing, well anyway welcome to Labyrinthian!" Zephyr welcomed me.

"I have been meaning to ask, what exactly is this place?" I asked Zephyr looking around the ancient nordic room.

"This is Labyrinthian, it used to be the Capital of Skyrim, and now my goal is to make it the Capital of Skyrim once again, and I have a few ways you can help me make that happen," Zephyr answered.
