Chapter 1: Partnered

I sat in class bored out of my mind, Then Mrs. Havens said ,"We're going to have a two week project with partners on space and astrological explanations for physics and relativity, here are your partners," I crossed my fingers hoping I didn't get my enemy, Braden Rithings, The Terra Highschool Quarterback.

Then she said the last few ,"Emma and Jackson, Ella and Darlene, Katrine and Lindsey, and Flora and Braden. Fuck

I thought to myself why did it have to be the one person I didn't want, I would've settled for Derek Trunnings or Aria Roival the bad cook for that matter.

But nevertheless Braden was my partner and I had to deal with that. Then Mrs. Havens said ,"Okay go talk with your partners, get acquainted," So I walked to Braden and said ,"Hi Braden Long time no see,"

"Oh hi... Flora... ," Braden replied unenthusiastically

"Oh well nice day to you too ," Aria said sarcastically

"Soo... Just give me your number and we'll meet up later.

"Okaaay, 212-555-797,"

"Okay gotcha," I said while writing the number down. I mean he is just so fucking annoying, He just gets on my nerves all the time.

Then the bell rung, as I was grabbing my bag, when I heard the bell I walked out of class and out of school to my car where I accidentally dropped my keys but right before I could pick them up, Braden did and he jingled them, Ughh the audacity of this guy ," Ya know I kinda need a ride to my house and...,"

"Give me the keys, and get in the car," I said angrily

"Calm down baby take a chill pill," Derek said teasingly

"Get the fuck in already," I said while unlocking my door and getting in.

When I got in I shut the door and started driving ," where's your house, we could just go to yours and study there," He replied

"Okay gotcha we'll go to my house and study and work on the project," I said confirmingly. When We had gotten to the house it had been silent, So I got out, and went into the house and up to the study, Braden followed me up and I closed the door.
